Summary: Very good, but long winded
Review: This is one of the best books I ever read. With very good story line, but there are part of the books where I though where just added on to make the store longer!!!!???????

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Yet another one...
Review: I don't know what is the most irritating thing about the works of Eddings. Whether it is the shallow and boring cliché- like story or the completely undeveloped characters. Whatever it is, I had thought this book, and the previous, would improve the story a little. How disappointed I was. I may have read worse stories than the Belgariad and the Malloreon but I think I would have to think for a LONG time before I found any.

Summary: Brilliant, Brilliant Billiant.........!!!!
Review: Pawn of prophecy was one of the first books that I have ever read and it caught me hook line and sinker onto the remarkable storytelling of the Edding's. Garion and his friends are people I have known all my life and this book just increases the fondness I feel for these characters.A huge, brilliantly written, dose of Eddings nostalgia which adds to the best written series ever produced and increases the opinion I have that David Eddings is the greatest author ever!

Summary: Completes the history
Review: I understand now why some readers gave a poor review of this book. However, they have forgotten that this book was written from Polgara's viewpoint, not from her erratic father's or a warrior's viewpoint. The reading of this story is absolutely necessary for the avid Eddings' reader. It answers many nagging questions. You finally find out exactly what sacrifices Polgara made to bring Belgarion safely into their world in order to satisfy the prophecy. Her story also completes Belgarath's historical recounting of what had transpired prior to Faldor's Farm. This completion of historical events could only have been told by Polgara. I must change direction here and extend my comments to the authors, Eddings. Please do not end the storytelling here. Your writings are exciting reading. I have not read more enthralling characters or events since the Lord of the Rings. I have been reading your work since the publication of the Pawn of Prophecy in 1982. I feel like I have grown up with Garion. I'd like to know what happens to the Rivan throne and Geran; does Belgarion abdicate or retain the throne (he is immortal)? Or what Garion does after Ce'Nedra dies? Or now that events can begin anew, how does their world evolve? Will other prophecies now have potential to intrude upon them? You are masterful storytellers. Please continue with this world. It fills my imagination.

Summary: Good Book and I hope its not really the last.
Review: I for one found it very hard to put down. I was really drawn to Pol moreso than I was in any of the other books. As for people asking what sex her twins are if you really paid attention you would know that as Garion noticed everything was repeating itself, So Pol's twins are female just as her and Belderan were. The only thing, however, I found dissapointing, were the few discrepencies between Polgara the Sorceress and Belgarath the Sorcerer. Such as the wording of what was said. I personally think that they should have matched more closely (not perfectly) Like parts where Pol remembers Belgarath saying a whole paragraph where Belgarath remembers him saying only 2 or 3 words. Anyway, I recommend this book to all fantasy fans out there.

Summary: You mean I have to read ANOTHER one??
Review: I will admit, that I did enjoy another Eddings novel.. But come on! How many times can we milk the same story. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the sarcasm and banter Mr. Eddings seems to have mastered, but the book seemed to be more of a male bashing adventure than the classic tales. Too much influence from "other" sources, (and you fans know what I mean). Plus, I had a hard time trying to finish it, pretty much being able to predict most of the book as it went along, anyway. Judge for yourself.

Summary: GREAT!!!!!
Review: I actually havn't read the book , but I have read all the others twice. I am looking forward greatly to reading it. But I want more. DAVID_ YOU NEED TO KEEP THE STORY GOING AND ALIVE. Summary: One of the GREATEST books written.
Review: Well, it would rate a 50, but the computer won't let me. I have read the Belgariad and the Mallorean a total of three times each. When BELGARATH THE SORCERER came out, I read that twice. Now, the final volume has come, and I read it four times. This is in my opinion the best book in the series, telling Pol's side of the story in a humorous and clever way, explaining the ancient history of the world, the stuff that isn't mentioned in the earlier books. IT tells her whole life, the things that NOBODY knew about her, such as how she became the Duchess of Erat, and how she basically invented Sendaria, and of her role in the wars. If you are a fan of Eddings, or just fantasy in general, read this book!

Summary: The best book I have ever read
Review: I could not put this book down, and when I had finished it I wish I hadn't! The plot is brilliant and if you're a fan of the Eddings duo then you will love this book
