Summary: A very surprising book
Review: I waited until this came out in paperback to buy it, after all, after Belgarath's story this would be so dull. How dissapointed I was when I actually found it to be down right interesting! Polgara has very strong opinions, she'll march into rooms and gibve orders in ways that the Old Wolf never would. I liked this. It is simply entertaining. The years spent in Arendia, the creation of Erat moving into Sendaria, I think it's great. There's nothing new, but simply a few revealing facts, and a nice easy read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Humorous and interesting at the same time.
Review: Written in the classic Eddings style, this book was a real page-turner. I've read the entire series plus the sequel series "The Mallorean," and throughout Polgara has been one of my favorite people. This book made it easy for me to get to know the characters. It would be a good choice even if you are not a fan of the series.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: An excellent book, the best of the series.
Review: I thought Polgara was a wonderful book, a great story and I was unable to put it down.

I would like to know what would happen to the other characters who are just mortal and I hope they don't die.

I was reading a couple of reviews and some of them didn't understand Poledra, but it was spiritual relationship.

I really loved this book and would like to compliment the author.

Summary: Let's Hear From Poledra
Review: I found Polgara too perfect for the entire series. As Belgarath says, " She has always been just a little too sure of herself." I was fascinated with Poledra and her wolf persona. Beldin was also a thoroughly enjoyable fellow. I would like to read Poledra's bio, as well as Beldin's. Silk could follow, and just how are we going to extend his life anyway? I can't stand the thought of Barak, Relg, Taiba, Silk and Hettar expiring while the whining sniveling dryad Ce'Nedra gets to hang on for a long time and have tons 'o babies. I know, I know, the whole point of the series is that time and destiny march on...but still, I really liked these guys.

Also, I have read Jordan, Tolkien, Martin, Goodkind. I have found value in all of them. Why don't I hear people mention Donaldson or Hickman/Tracy or the Shannara series???

Summary: read the other eddings book
Review: this book just was lacking. it was good and entertaining but it left me unfulfilled. there was not much creativity to the story because the story line was limited to the facts that were revealed about polgara's life in the other books. recommend reading a book out of the belgariad or the mallorean.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An excellent book!
Review: What a great book! It was so amazing, all her thoughts, feelings, on paper! The characters were really amazing, you really fell in love with them. My favorite, of course, was Polgara, because she was just so wonderful, and her thoughts were so deep, and she was just a really amzing person. I loved the Belgariad, Mallorean, and Belgarath the Sorcerer. My favorite character after Polgara was Ce'Nedra, just becuase she was who she was. I could read that book a million times and it would never bore me! In fact, I think I will!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A great followup to Belgarath and the Belgariad
Review: When I read this book, I couldn't put it down. In my opinion, I think this is a great followup to the Belgariad/Malloreon and Belgarath. It covers the past that wasn't covered in either the Belgariad or the Malloreon. I liked the parts where she's in Arendia. It is also funny the way she interacts with her father, the great Belgarath.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Too good to be true!
Review: I am only 11 and already I've read it and I think it is one of the best books I've ever read. I love it because it not only tells about the good parts, but the bad parts of her life too. It makes you be there, it makes you live her life because it was so well written. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a month read.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: having read all the other books, Polgara just doesn't work
Review: Although the story is well written, the book disputes many of the other stories. Having read all the previous books, I was disapointed in Polgara. However if I had never read any of the previous books I would be inclined to say Polagara was an excellent piece of the fantasy Genre. I believe David Eddings could have done a much better job if he had taken the time to research his own novels.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Polgara The Sorceress is outta this world!!!!
Review: This was my first Eddings book. To tell the truth, I have NEVER read anything like it, and I think Eddings is the best fantasy author on the face of the earth. Truly. Eversince, I have read the Belgariad and Belgarath the Sorcerer and I'm moving to the Malloreon. To anyone who wants a very, VERY good book to read, read this book (and all other Edding's works). You will never regret it!!!!!
