Rating: Summary: Next best thing to Robert Jordan Review: A fun easy reading fantasy story. Belgarath and Silk are among my favorite charactors in modern fantasy. If you liked them be sure to read Robert Jordan
Rating: Summary: Deja-vu of Lord of the rings Review: An excellently thought book, with engaging and realistic characters. Eddings writing although it is extremely simplicit, rounds and seems to describe people, persons and events. This book keeps you guesing all the way, and its been a long time since a book has done that to me.
Rating: Summary: IT Was Awsome! Review: I first started this series when I was eleven. I admit that it was a slow begining but after I started reading I couldn't stop. I read all summer every day until I finished the last one. These first books are the most important in my view. You need to hook the reader on it, and that is exactly what Eddings did This is my most favored series, I am currently through the latest and probably the last book "Polgara the Sorceress". It is great so far.
Rating: Summary: David Eddings is bigger than god, but not bigger than Garion Review: When i get the book Pawn of prophety i sad to my sister that i don't thing the book was good. But now, one year later I have reade "The Belgariad" and "The Malloreon" four times on Swedish and one time on English. I'm just twelwe years old, so I don't understand the books on englesh wery well but I read anyway. I haven't read The Elenium But i'm think i like it.....
Rating: Summary: How to Become synonomous with Fantasy. Review: David Eddings has more flare for fantasy than most writers I know . His rich blend of emotion and life gives his characters a depth that can only be called magical. No other author personalizes his characters as well. Eddings is a genius for adolescent romance and reaches far beyond expectations of the reader. A must for all readers with a soft spot for romance trust and honour , keep bringing them on David.....

Rating: Summary: The best series I have ever read, and I am not even from U.S Review: I am from israel, (English is not my first languegh, so please
forgive me if I'm mispelling some words). David Eddings is a
god! I have read all of his books numerous times! I have every
copy of his Belgriad and the Mellorian at home. I was so looking
fowrd to read his last book (belgarath the sorcer) that I couldn't
wait for it to be translated to my own languegh! and read it in English (wich is NOT an easy task for my)!!
Rating: Summary: An absolutley champion effot Dav Review: I've read the "Belgariad" and the "Malloreon" three times each. I've just started reading the "Belgariad" again and still lovin' it. You just can't get a better series. After this series I'm going to read "Polgara the sorceress" as I have already read "Belgarath the sorcerer" and I hope Kal David Eddings is putting out a "Poledra the sorceress" that tells us about what she has been doing since the twins where born
Rating: Summary: Wish they'd never make a movie out of this... Review: No movie could ever catch the tale of the simple scullery boy from Faldor's farm, who goes to become one of the world's most powerful beings. Only with a vivid imagination can one capture the world of the Belgariad. Mr. Eddings writes a fine tale of adventure, romance and action laced with his own brand of humor and wit, set in a world of two opposing destinies fighting for control over the fate of the universe. The humor, drama, and action can only be described as outstanding. Other fantasy books swarm you with details which can become so tedious and make the story so convoluted. Eddings writes a feel-good book, whose tone is light and humorous; where insights in life are truly entertaining yet disturbingly true. A must read
Rating: Summary: The finest fantasy series written in the past 40 years Review: This is as good as it gets for well developed, interesting, "real", fantasy characters. I have re-read the series many times. Each time I go back it is because I want to revist my old friends. (Garion, Belgarath, Aunt Pol, Silk, etc.) I cannot recommend the book enough to readers of any age
Rating: Summary: Tolkein? Who's that? Garion beats up little Hobbits! Review: If you haven't read The entire Belgariad (and the Mallorean) then you simply do not know anything about fantasy or reading in general. These are some of the best books ever written. The only other books that come close to these are Margaret Weis and Tracey Hickman's Death Gate Cycle. Try 'em. Just remember - sometimes you really should go to sleep
