Summary: The Belgariad
Review: I am a huge fan of Eddings... By far the best of his work is the The Belgariad! Eddings makes the characters come alive as if they were real in every detail. Eddings writting seems to draw you ino his books. Be warned, once you start The Belgariad you will not stop till you read them all and you end up reading them over and over again as I have and do.

Summary: Absoulutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Ever since 7th grade, when my dad got me to read Pawn of Prophecy, I haven't been able to put it down. I managed to scrounge up enough money for the Mallorean, Belgarath the Sorcerer, and Polgara the Sorceress. It's the greatest book I've ever read. The detail and rounding out of the characters was spectacular. I would recomend this book to anyone who has a craving for a great fantasy.

Summary: UNBELIVABLE
Review: I NEVER REALLY ENJOYED READING UNTIL MY UNCLE TURNED ME ON TO THESE BOOKS. I'VE NOW READ BOTH SERIES 4 TIMES EACH, AND TRY TO READ THEM ONCE A YEAR. I NEVER CAN PUT THEM DOWN. BETWEEN SILK AND BARAK'S BANTERING AND (BEL)GARION'S CONSTANT "WHY ME'S" YOU JUST HAVE TO LAUGH. EDDINGS MAKE ME FEEL LIKE I'M RIGHT THERE IN THE ADVENTURE WITH THEM. HE DESCRIBES EVERYTHING AND EVERYBODY SO PERSICELY IN ALL HIS BOOKS YOU JUST CAN'T HELP BUT GET SUCKED IN. I JUST WISH THERE WAS MORE. MAYBE ANOTHER SEREIS, PASS THE TORCH TO GREAN AND UNRAK OR SOMTHING. JUST ONE MORE SERIES, BUT THEN IF THAT HAPPENS THEN, I'LL WANT A NEXT ONE TOO. JUST UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Summary: This series is the absolute best!
Review: I have read every book in the Belgariad, the Mallorean, and the prequels more times than I can count. I even named my first daughter Adara! I am heartbroken there will be no more from David and Leigh. These books are pure genius and are extremely entertaining. I would recommend them for everyone!

Summary: An Epic Adventure
Review: Without doubt one of the finest adventure series of books ever written perhaps only surpassed by Tolkien.I have read all of Eddings books and each one amazes me with the detail of descriptions given I found myself constantly referring to the map pages to see where I was in this world. You will find that you will love all the main characters and always one will be your favourite mine was Silk These books are very difficult to put down I started to read them before all the books of the Mallorean were published and honestly the wait was agonising. I reccommend these books to people of all ages.

Summary: The best books i have eva read !
Review: I am 12 years old.I read and Read and When my English teacher gave us a 'Rags to Riches' assignment, she recomended that read the Belgariad series. A friend said they were the best books she had ever read ( she had read the 2nd & 3rd books ). I have read the first two books and they are the most amazing books that someone could write. They are so magically entriving and have such cliffhanging endings that it is a must to read the next one. They would make perfect christmas presnts because then i could read them over and over again. You can never possibly KNOW what lies ahead for the group as there are many posibilities. I cant wait to find out the conseqences of the ORB .

Summary: The Absolute Best
Review: David and Leigh have captured the very essence of fantasy writing with the Belgariad and the Mallorian. The characters almost leap off the page. The interaction between each character is believable and the reader can identify with each in his or her own way. The humour and bantering dialogue in these books are sure to leave you laughing. (Take care in public places...you'll get strange looks.) You will laugh, and you will probably cry. I highly recommend these two series' even if you don't like fantasy. Hey, I'm on my 4th read of them. Now if only I can find them all in hardcover.

Summary: I've read the WHOLE series until my books fall apart.
Review: Characterization is well-developed, no mysticism here, "real world" rules observed, a "scholarly" work in total, equal to any work P.D. James or Lord Peter Wimsey's creator ever wrote - and both of those writers were scholars in and of their own.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: What can you say? One of the best series ever written.
Review: Without a doubt, this is one of the best series ever written, and easily the best series I have ever read (twice). I will be reading it a third time after reading Belgarath the Sorcerer and Polgara the Sorceress, as I was once again drawn into the magic web of his writing. The depth of the story and the characters, along with more than a little hilarity puts this at the top of my list of recommended books.

Summary: It was great I couldn't put it down
Review: I couldn't put it down I read it in about three days and went on to the next books in the series. I couldn't put any of those down either! I suggest that any one who loves fantasy should definately read this series!
