Rating: Summary: A GREAT novel! Review: I am reviewing this book as a regular Fantasy/Fiction reader, because I believe that as a book, not as a MYST book, this is one of the greatest books ever created. You don't need to be a MYST fan (Although I am) or a fantasy reader to enjoy this book! I think the main reason it didn't become a huge bestseller was because most people thought it was made for MYST fans. It's not. The Miller brothers truly are wonderful writers. MYST: The Book of Ti'Ana, along with its other two books in the collection, have every element of a great novel. And that's what I think they are. Not only does this novel explain the history and story of MYST and Riven, but it also is an exciting adventure in itself. I would suggest this original book to anyone who enjoys adventure, fantasy, or sci-fi books.
Rating: Summary: This book is incredible! Review: It is so rare to say that I was actually moved by a book, but this novel completely changed the way that I viewed the world. It made me sad for the state of the world, with its displays of human deceit and self-interest. However, it gave me hope for a real rebirth of society. This is a real eye-opener, and I will never forget about it.
Rating: Summary: A Great Book,One Not to be Myst. Review: I think anyone can Enjoy this book(played the game ?),in my oppinion(wich as it has verry little weight in the mater of you getting it or not)is the best in the seres. Now you might be thinking if he botherd to read the entire Myst novle triligy he might like them for a particular reaon, but i asure you that my giving it 5 stars is becouse I fell that its worthy of that 5th star(to me that "5th star" represents the fact that it is one of the only books I think everyone can apreceat, and after you finish the book it stays with you(even though you where justchecking it out of the Lybrary,or borowing it from a frend , or left it on the flor and it got sweped under the bed from witch it will never return)) So in short....Get this book.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic! Review: Seeing that everything that could be said is already said, I only want to say one thing: !Drop anything you're doing and read this completely awesome book, NOW! Thanks.
Rating: Summary: Great book but sad ending Review: This is a very interesting book. It's a library of information on Myst, Riven and D'ni. YOu'll also love the storyline. The ending of this book is very sad, but it's more bearable when you know that the book of Atrus comes after it.
Rating: Summary: An Excellent book, wonderfully worded and very captivating Review: To anyone who has played myst/riven or hasn't, this is a book to behold. it is very imaginative and you get sucked into it. It is a very tragic story and tells the untold story of D'ni's falling and how life was before it ended. i strongly recommend this book to anyone who has an imaginationa nd likes a very well written book.
Rating: Summary: I want MORE MORE MORE! Review: This is a beautifully written book. When they say it is the story that no one wants said, they're right. In this story, there is no "winner," good doesn't win over evil, but evil doesn't nesicarellyh win over good. This book kept me hooked for three days. I couldn't put it down, and it explains a lot about the games and the book that comes after it, The Book of D'ni (Pronounced DUNNY in case you didn't know). At school I had to keep people from touching my book I was so afraid they might ruin the spine or cover, that was how protective of my book I was, I couldn't hardly let anyone else touch it.
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: This book is great. The author(s) worded the story magnificently. I felt myself joining the story, and felt the loss when D'NI was destroyed. I would recomend this book to anyone who loves to read, not just those that are interested in the myst world.
Rating: Summary: EXCELLENT BOOK! NO ONE SHOULD MISS THIS TITLE! Review: This is a LONG book to start out with. Although it is almost six hundred pages long, every page is worth reading. Say goodbye to your friends and family before you start reading this book. IT IS MESMERISING!
Rating: Summary: Great! Review: This book was... wonderful! Just like the other two! I think this might have actually been my favorite of the series. It's so sad though... to have the whole city of D'ni be destroyed. The whole thing was really A'Gaeris's fault, as I see it. I thought that this book was beautifully written, and just plain fabulous! The Myst books are probably my all time favorite books, and I hope that there will be more of them. I love the personalities of all the characters: Atrus, Anna, Veovis, all of them! This is a great book!
