Summary: Inspirational, Imaginative, Addicting!
Review: It has been quite a long time since I have read a truly addicting book. Until I idly picked up Myst: The book of Ti'Ana, while strolling up and down the shelves of a bookstore.I spent an hour in that bookstore, unable to tear my eyes from the page long enough to buy the book. I fell in love with the characters, and the spectacular discription of everything. This may sound corny, but I actually felt like I was there. The words, and language are spectacular. Wild horses could not have dragged me away from this book. I highly recommend it to any Myst fan, or anyone who loves to read a good piece of art. Because this book truly is just that:a piece of art.

Summary: But Can We Ever Forgive You Ti'ana (Anna)?
Review: I doubt her husband, Aitrus (not Atrus) secretly did. There are mistakes, and there are MISTAKES. Oy! (And I'm not even Jewish). As the economist Milton Friedman states, "Good intentions can do the worst harm." This is really a good novel. Miller and Wingrove are not bogged down by the game of MYST. So this is really good stuff. Their previous book was a tad boring (to say the least) and rightfully so. It needed the same modality as the game. But this is a really good science fiction novel that stands on it's own. And you will find out where D'Ni is. It may be no futher than where you are standing (wink! wink!). I really liked Veovis. The D'Ni are a bit stoic, and their treatment of him was reprehensible. They done him wrong. An excellent novel. I enjoyed every page. And despite the fact that none of the characters of the MYST game are in this one, don't miss it. It sets the stage for the rest.

Summary: a wonderful book
Review: This book, The Book of Ti'ana, is quite possibly the best book I have ever read, and I've read a lot of great books. I have read Ti'ana over twenty times (honestly) and it still leaves me breathless. The scope of vision is amazing, and the depth of feeling and theme is even more so. In this book, there is love and hatred and sacrifice, loyalty and betrayal, sadness and joy, tragedy and triumph. I know that sounds corny, but it's only true. I won't give away the plot, but what especially affected me is how a basically good man was tricked into becoming evil. Also, the love story of Anna and Aitrus (that's not giving anything away, you can read that on the back cover) was so sweet, wonderful, poetic, and bittersweet. Tears were streaming down my face by the final pages. And it wasn't like I finished it and started reading something else; I thought about it continuously for weeks afterward. The games are great, but you can love this book (and the other two myst books)even if you've never played the game. The Book of Atrus is awesome too, but i felt the Book of D'ni lacked the scope and feeling and imagination of the other two. What I'd like to see is a book about Gehn's growing up, how he became twisted after the twisting started in Ti'ana's book, and how anna and gehn started over... but I guess I'll have to wait for that. Wonderful book, guys: READ IT! You'll never forget it. =) }:I:{

Summary: An amazing and inspiring story
Review: This book is one of the best books I have ever read. It draws fans of the game further into the legend of Myst. If you are familliar with the game, you will most likely enjoy reading this most excelent book.

Summary: Wonderful fantasy that everyone can enjoy!
Review: This is the first book of the series that I read (missing The Book of Atrus) and I'm now into Book of D'ni. A reader doesn't have to know all about the games Myst or Riven to understand the goings on. I'm a 34 year-old mother of two and couldn't put this book down!

Summary: Excellant Book
Review: It has been over 2 years since I played Myst. When I read the book I enjoyed the story but could not understand what it had to do with the game. Then when I played Riven it all made sense.I think Riven explains things a little better than Myst did.

Summary: 10 times read, going on 20
Review: I have The Book of Atrus and i have read it at least 10 times. It is one of THE BEST books i have ever seen. The story has no gaps, it's filled with suspense, and even though i know what will happen i'm still suprised every time! You have to read this book if you have any interest in good liturature myst fan or otherwise!

Summary: This book rocks!!
Review: This book is beyond mind-blowing!! It's so good, I cannot begin to describe it! Even if you have no clue as to what Myst is, I still recommend it! I have never even played Myst or Riven, yet I still have read all 3 books, Atrus, Ti'Ana, and D'ni. I HIGHLY recommend this book, as well as the other 2!!

Summary: The book was wonderful.
Review: The book it self is stuningly beautiful, the cover has the look of green enbosed leather with a medalion at its center. The story is in no way disapointing or boring. It tells of Atrus' twenties through his thirties, and of the life of Anna. It tells of love, compassion, revenge, trechery, and deciet.

Summary: DON'T MISS MYST!!!
Review: One morning, I went to the bookstore to get a couple new bookto read. MYST was one of them. When I got home, I began to read it...and I finished it later that afternoon. I loved the book so much that that night I went back to the bookstore that night and bought the other two, MYST: The Book of Ti'Ana and MYST: The Book of D'ni; and read them within the next few days. These are easily the best books that I've ever read! The only reason I bought the book in the first place was because I loved the games MYST and Riven and had beaten both of them, and so, naturally, I bought the book because the games were awesome. Sure the books help you better understand the world of D'ni and the characters, but I personally think that the books were written in the wrong order. It should have went Ti'Ana, Atrus, then D'ni..but, nevertheless, the MYST books series still rules!!! My two favorites of the MYST series are Ti'Ana and D'ni!! Buy all of them the first chance you get..you won't be dissapointed!!!
