Summary: When I saw that Traitor's Moon was out I danced in delight
Review: Traitor's Moon is as engrossing and satisfying as the two books before it. I picked it up and couldn't put it down again- even at the dinner table! An excellent read, and worth your while.

Summary: An absolute GEM!!!!
Review: I absolutely loved this book from the first to the last page (even though I didn't want it to end!!)! I really liked the way the Aurenfaie lived and their complex sense of honour, and Seregil and Alec are as always lovable and witty! and I liked the way one gets to know Thero better, one other character that I liked was Nyal, I liked the way one wasn't sure of his intentions or where his loyalties were. For new readers I wouldn't recommend reading this one first since it has ties in the two previous ones and besides no one should miss the other two. Now my final wish is that the next book will come soon!!!

Summary: She has done it again!
Review: Like her first book, and her second, Traitor's Moon is beautifully written, wonderfuly thought up, and it stays original throughout. Some books get to be repetitious, but not these. They're refreshingly new, deliciously crisp, but that shimmering string of genious is consistent throughout the series. If you want a good series, then your search is over.

Lynn Flewelling is truly, a great author. The best I've read from, to tell you the truth. I'm not just saying so for the heck of it either; I'm a very picky reader, and often times a harsh critic, but I'm always very honest. For what is there to gain, from lying? Nothing. So I tell thee now, this book is well worth the time, and definately worth more than what it costs, mon amie.

It's filled with excitement, adventure, and sprinkled with a little bit of love and hate here and there, with a dash of mystery, and a plate of fun, served with a cup of danger. She appeals to your senses and wakes your imagination. It is THIS that makes her books so interesting to read.

If you get but one book this whole year, let it be from this series. You won't regret it, nor will you be able to put it down. *Smiles* Traitor's Moon, in my opinion, is a contemporary "WOW!".

Summary: Fantasy Adventure at Its Best
Review: Once again, the Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling has surpassed all my expectations. From the opening to the conclusion of this novel, the reader is thrown head on into intrigue and excitement. It has all the qualities I look for. Fencing, fighting, magic, mayhem and true love. The characters are well portrayed and believable. The mystery at the heart of the plot is intense. While I forced myself to read slow so I could savor the book, I also found myself wanting to charge towards the end.

This is how fantasy SHOULD be written.

Summary: Simply Awesome
Review: I just read all three nightrunner books in less than a week (I had to wait four days to get the second one, so about a day's reading for each) This is the best and first fantasy series (SERIES) that I have come across, and its characters and stories rival some of the greats. Best of all: no cliff hangers.

Traitor's Moon takes Alec and Seregil (don't you just love them?!) to Aurenen, Seregil's homeland from which he was exiled as a youth. They are part of the Skalan delegation, including Klia, Thero, and Beka, that is negotiating for aid in the war.

Love, laughter, politics, frustration, fear, fighting, nightrunning, secrets, and the past weave a powerful spell that glues twelve ounces of paper and ink to your hands till the tale is done. It has the perfect mixture of action and reflection that really gives you a tangible feel of the place and the lovable characters, (some aren't so lovable, but just as real.)

If you haven't read the first two books I highly recommend them. (After all, Lynn had two kids in collage.) They are so much fun and definitely worth it!

Summary: beyond fabulous, but now I'm waiting agian!
Review: Like the rest of the world I waited forever, read it in one night, and now I'm waiting again. It's just as good as the others, just as much fun to read. If you like swashbuckling intrigue, you can't get much better than the Nightrunner books (which aren't a trilogy ;-) I'm madly in love with Seregil and Alec!

Summary: Fantastically beyond my expectations...
Review: ... And I have been expecting this book since I read the last page of Stalking Darkness in Feb 1997. I have been waiting for this book for over 2 years ( and let me add my hope that it will be soon that we see another book from Ms. Flewelling!!!) and Traitor's Moon has fullfilled every hope I was looking for. The unique and refreshing relationship between Seregil and Alec. The intrigue, the plot twists, the development of characters, both primary and secondary; I too enjoyed the growth of Thero!! Also I enjoyed the mystery and the fact that for questions answered there were more questions raised. Everything about this book has been as fresh and engaging as the first two.

While it stands on it's own plot wise, the more subtle bits do tie into the first two books but it's not like reading the first two is any hardship as they are as much fun as this one.

Summary: Wonderful!
Review: This is an absolutley fabulous book. Lynn's attention to detail is amazing. Her plot is complex and riveting. Seregil and Alec's love for each other shows much sensitivity and detail. The complexity of Seregil's homeland is rich with honor, secrets, and intrigued. This is one of the best books I've ever read, and Lynn has a real gift... I strongly recommend everyone read this book after reading the first books in the series. (No this isn't a trilogy) :o)

Summary: This book is wonderful
Review: I have loved each of the nightrunner books and this one is definately worth reading. Don't wait another second.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Perhaps rough going for new readers, but great for fans.
Review: Like most, I imagine, who've read "Luck" and "Stalking", I've been on tenterhooks for months, waiting for this book to come out. After devouring it in a single night, I think I can say pretty wholeheartedly that it was worth the wait. Flewelling's fans will be delighted by the return of our favorite nightrunner pair (and yes, the "pair" side of things gets some attention :) ), and by the revelation of pieces of Seregil's past. However, I would recommend that readers not familiar with Flewelling start with "Luck in the Shadows", the first Nightrunner book; while "Traitor's Moon" is well-done, it does refer a good deal to characters and events in past books. These references aren't plot-essential, but they are, IMHO, a key part of what makes the book enjoyable.
