Summary: A great book! If it were more widely known, it'd be CLASSIC!
Review: I am reviewing this book as a regular Fantasy/Fiction reader, because I believe that as a book, not as a MYST book, this is one of the greatest books ever created. You don't need to be a MYST fan (Although I am) or a fantasy reader to enjoy this book! I think the main reason it didn't become a huge bestseller was because most people thought it was made for MYST fans, computer nerds, etc. It's not. The Miller brothers truly are wonderful writers. MYST: The Book of Atrus, along with its other two books in the collection, have every element of a great novel. And that's what I think they are. Not only does this novel explain the history and story of MYST and Riven, but it also is an exciting adventure in itself. I would suggest this original book to anyone who enjoys adventure, fantasy, or sci-fi books.

Summary: Best book I ever read!!!
Review: Myst: The Book Of Atrus is the best book I EVER read! The story is so mysterious and intrigueing, you'll wish the story went on forever. It also has a very happy ending. And it explains all the unknown words and details in Myst and Riven. I'd recommend it to ANYONE!

Summary: Atrus, Catherine, Gehn, even Sirrus and Achenar at the end!
Review: ...This book has 'em all! Let me start by saying, I am extreamly glad that I own this book! It's the kind that you can really get into. The kind that you'll want to talk about constantly. And boy! did I ever want to play Riven after reading it! I read this book on my own, and then later, I read it again with my younger brother. It's funny how you don't always notice certain things when you read something in your head, as oposed to reading it out loud. Reading it out loud the second time, My brother and I noticed that Atrus sure wakes up often not knowing whare he is! Really! It became a running joke! Now, we're reading The Book of Ti'ana together, and it's the same thing! I guess it must be in the jeans. anyway, it's a REALLY good book, and I(and my brother Seann) really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really,...(You get the idea)... Sugjest that you read it! P.S. If anyone involved in the making of this book reads this, I give you a vertual pat on the back! GREAT JOB! Keep up the good work!

Summary: Remember when you played Myst? Yah? Well...
Review: ...Remember the openning sequence whare this crack opens on your screen and somebody jumps into it, and as he falls, he opens a book and vannishes? WHO WAS THAT?!?! You? How could it be you? You're the one that finds the book on the ground whare it lands! Could it be, perhaps, the person who is speaking at that time? Perhaps... Well this book answers all, and leaves off whare Myst just begines. It's also just a really great read! I'm sure that I would have liked it even if I hadn't played Myst first! One more thing. THEY'RE NOT CREATING THE AGES OKAY? I MEAN ISN'T THAT THE POINT OF THE STORY?!

Summary: BEST DANG BOOK I'VE EVER READ!
Review: I am a total Myst fanatic. I read Myst: The Book Of Atrus and I thought it was the best. I loved the ending, cus thats where the game begins!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I love this book
Review: I thought that this book was a very good book, it was so explainatory. It provided insights into the previous life of Atrus and why he was so obsessed witht the workings of his father's mind. I thougth that it was definately worth reading and thought that it explained muck about the lives of other people through out the other books, in relation to Atrus' own life.

Summary: Could it get any better
Review: Some people have suffered through a long book, some people are tired of those boring begginnings. But The Book of Atrus starts with a load of action and fun. Wonderful and fun to read, this book captivates your heart but also shreds it. This book ends where the world you know of as Myst begins.

Summary: A Fabulous Book!
Review: I love the whole Myst series, and the games MYST and RIVEN. I really liked this book, and thought it was wonderfully written. I love the idea of books literally linking you to new, wonderful, ages. I can't explain it very well, but this book was a... a masterpiece! I couldn't put it down. This is definatly one of my all time favorite books.

Summary: Great Storyline! A book to keep forever.
Review: A really interesting and thrilling storyline. I am only eleven but still enjoyed it, having played both Riven and Myst. I especially like how it explains things how some things are in the actual games. Also a forefilling ending to this intriging title.
