Rating: Summary: Free version on official starwars site Review: Apparently many people were complaining because it was not included in the paperback version of Destiny's Way. The book is in PDF format and can be printed, copied, etc. To find it, do a site search for "recompense". The link is in the article entitled "Ylesia: Erratum and Recompense". You can also find the article in the Expanded Universe news archive for August, 2003 (but it is NOT in the main news archive--note the difference).

Rating: Summary: Carppy service from Amazon! Review: I am very unimpressed with Amazon and it's distribution of this ebook. I paid and was never able to download. They said "we just make it available and it is your job to figure out how to download it." Well I've spent hours trying to set up my Adobe 6 and OS 10 to alow this download and was never able to do so from Amazon. Luckily I was able to download the free version mentioned by other reviewers. And you know it took about 20 seconds. Thanks a bunch Amazon and screw you.

Rating: Summary: e-books are not printable--I did not know this... Review: I bought this book mainly to print it out and found out after strugling for a long time that it could not be printed. I will also never but another e-book.
Rating: Summary: e-books are terrible Review: I bought this product and was absolutely ticked off. I read that this e-book was printable, and after wrestling with the adobe reader and my required account, I wasn't able to print it. I will never buy another e-book, even if it contains some pivotal moment that will affect the entire series.
Rating: Summary: Microsoft Reader? Review: I love Star Wars books, but I'm not a technology person past minor use of the internet. I don't even know what a Microsoft Reader is, let alone own one. Why is that people who aren't entirely up-to-date on computer stuff allowed to read this book?
Rating: Summary: I hate ebooks Review: I love the New Jedi Order series, in fact I'm about to start a RPG campaign settled in this time. But I hate Del Rey's ebook. Why? Because I cannot print them. Even though this probably is a good story, I don't like being forced to read it in my computer. What if I like reading lying on the bed? Or in a park bench? That's why I won't buy this (and no other) ebook.
Rating: Summary: if you don't like ebooks, don't read them! Review: i love ylesia and i love ebooks! this is an incredibly short little snippet in the njo series and provides a brief burst of entertainment. the action is great, not essential to the overall series but an excellent bonus. additionally, i don't understand why everyone would buy an ebook and then complain about it. it is what it is, and i don't read any other kind of book! buy this and read it!
