Rating: Summary: The Best Fantasy series that I've ever read! Review: This series from Robert Jordan is so interesting and addictive that I can hardly put it down to do anything else. I started reading the series about a month and a half ago, and I haven't stopped reading since. I find myself imagining the world that he creates even when I'm not reading. Jordan describes everything in such detail that you can't help but imagine the world for yourself. The power that the story creates about the realm and the characters makes it seem so much more real. I can't wait for the rest of the series to come out so I can find out what happens to Rand, Mat, Perrin and the rest of the people being pulled along by the three ta'veren to confront the Dark Lord in the last battle.
Rating: Summary: Robert Jordan Kicks!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: This series of books by Robert Jordan has won millions of fans the world over. His character depth and developement is astounding. If you are looking for a good read try this entire series. Watch how the story unfolds and starts to contract into the series of events now unfolding in A CROWN OF SWORDS. Will Mat marry the daughter of the nine moons? Will Nynaeve and Elayne be able to use the Bowl of the Winds? Is Mazrim Taim really the Forsaken Demandred? I guess we'll just have to wait for the next book huh?
Rating: Summary: Is he running out of steam? Review: Until book 7, I loved the series. I even read Fallon Blood while waiting for book 7. Very good. If there ever is a book 8, I'll probably get it. But if it puts me to sleep like 7, or borrows text from earlier books like 7, that will be the end for me. If he can't do better, then he should have just ended the story in 7 and be done with it. Don't milk it . Move on.
Rating: Summary: The Best Review: What can I say? This series has ruined me for all other Fantasy. Jordan takes what Tolkien started and magnifies it until it explodes into near reality. While it may have its occasional dull moment, this is by far, the richest, most expansive, and most undeniably consistent world of magic and intrigue that one could read. You won't put it down, and you'll regret not picking it up.
Rating: Summary: Mesmerizing Review: Years ago I read The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit. I was delighted to find the Jordan series to be even better and longer. I just completed the last book and have started reading the first again. On rereading, it reveals more depth than I had seen the first time through. If you want to lose yourself in an exciting world that never was, read these books. My only regret is that there aren't more of them.
