Summary: A good ending, but not perfect, not by far.
Review: In this novel, most of the things Zahn started in Heir to the empire end up. The novel is much like the other two, it really captures the admosphere and feeling of Star Wars I haven't seen in any other SW novel until sofar (including Zahn's newest two SW novels). In general, I thought it was a great book, a must read for any Star Wars fan. Unfortunally, the ending of the whole story isn't really impressive, the way Thrawn got killed simply sucked while that lane C'baot character got a dying scene better than that of the Emperor's! I mean, if a great villain like Thrawn really had to die, why like that? Next to that, the Imperials in this novel had that classic James bondisch "evil organisation with lots of minios" flaw, once the great big, mean evil villian is gone, they run out of cannon fodder. But credit where credit's due, again, Zahn delivered a true SW masterpiece, .

Summary: Zahn does it again!
Review: A stunning conclusion to Timothy Zahn's 3 part trilogy! Great reading, i could hardly put it down. Maybe not as in-depth with the characters as in his previous books, but it was good none the less.

Summary: Good plot and development, but writing somewhat weak
Review: Definitely a "must read for star wars fans." Zhan does a good job of recreating the style and plot formulas of the movies. Only one complaint: apparently the only facial expression any of Zhan's characters are capable of is "smiling tightly." As in: "Luke thought about Mara Jade and smiled tightly" or "Wegde thought about blowing up the second Death Star and smiled tightly to himself." Similarly, everyone keeps "waving a hand" at someone when they talk. This is a good book, but I feel Zhan needed a better editor.

Summary: Zahn...why anyone else?
Review: Having read all 5 Zahn books, I felt obligated to write a review for my favorite of them all. I truly can't understand why anyone else writes Star Wars books. Well, I can understand it, I just wish they didn't have to! After his 5, I find the characters he created: Karrde, Jade, Thrawn, and Tierce and Flim in the new ones. He delves so deep into the roguish realm of SW that it gives readers a new perspective, while at the same time convincing us that the good guys are vulnerable. Nothing peeves me more than unstoppable heroes. My only real qualm: I actually want the bad guys to win. Come on, who really didn't want Thrawn to take over at least part of the galaxy, hmm?

Summary: This was excellent Book
Review: This was an excellent book. I think Timothy Zahn really gave the book a good plot and it was believable. The only thing I did not like about this book was how it kind of centered on Mara Jade. I didn't like her character.

Summary: Best book I've ever read!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: A perfect ending to the Zahn trilogy. I am a huge star Wars fan and loved this book. After reading the first two, I just had to have the last one. Any big star wars fan should read this book. I could never stop reading it. Any person in their right mind would love this book!!!

Summary: Great ending to great trilogy!
Review: This book had great action and a great plot! Like the first two books the author had retained the character's personality and the Star Wars Spirit. When I read the book, I loved how the book reminded me of Return of the Jedi. How I can't say because it will spoil the book for others. I loved how the bad guys were defeated once and as how this is truly Star Wars. I love this book and I love Star Wars. I encourage anyone who want a good action Star Wars story to get this Star Wars Trilogy. May the Force be with you.

Summary: Loved it, what else can I say??????
Review: WELL... the heading pretty much says it all, doesn't it??? If you liked this book -- Mara esp.--hint, hint!! you must also read Vision of the Future by Timothy Zahn, you won't be disappointed on either count!!

Summary: EXCELLENT WORK Mr ZAHN !
Review: A great book, and a fitting ending to a great trilogy! Mr Zahn did an excellent job at preserving the spirit of the original SW trilogy without simply copying the ideas of Mr. Lucas. The already known and beloved characters like Luke, Leia & Han, but also Lando & Mon Mothma, are growing older and more complete, while a whole series of new and fascinating heroes come along, like Carrde and Bel Iblis. Also, we have the "debut" of Mara Jade, yet another strong and beautifull lady to add to the Leia. It seems the authors of SW do not hesitate to show women as strong and resilient as men, which I personally think is great! And wouldn't it be fun if she and Luke were to stick together like Han and Leia? After all, he did give her his father's lightsaber!

In this book, as in all the trilogy, the SW galaxy also grows, with new planets (Kashyyyk was superb, we learnt so much about Chewie), new starships (the Katana fleet) and technology (cloning tanks), new species (Bothans, Noghri), complete with a brand new Dark Jedi, albeit a crazy, cloned one ...

But most of all this trilogy presents the greatest vilain after Darth Vader (and I only say "after" because it would be sacriledge to say that I actually think Thrawn is better than Vader, a more complete and more exciting character).

All in all, a superior performance, which must be read by all serious SW fans.

Summary: Perfect just Perfect!!
Review: This book is wonderful and think what will the comic be like Whoah! I would love to see this books' triolgy be made into movies it's great. But first they have to make the Courtship of Princess Leai first now that book is great. It would make the perfect finish to the last three, give you an idea of what happened next. Mara Jade this girl kinda gave me a headache I mean was she good or bad or what?? Winter is good too. But my favorit person was Leai I have all her lines in the book and the movie memoized. So if George Lucus gets board one day. All he hasta do is make these into movies. Get the book you'll love it garnented.
