Summary: Ok so it isn't out yet but...
Review: I am 12 and I started reading the books that my uncle gave me I came across two authors that I really enjoyed, specifically Terry Goodkind and Robert Jordan.I really enjoyed Jordan's work but my favorite is Terry Goodkind.I ate up his work and I am going to tell you that Terry Goodkind and Robert Jordan write nothing alike but they are both very enjoyable.I recommend Terry Goodkind to anyone who enjoys a very descriptive fantasy author.

Summary: Goodkind is a genuine marvel!
Review: I have been hungrily devouring Goodkind's novels since they came out (and am even rereading them for the third time) He manages to capture a depth of emotion and character that is rarely found in other books of the genre. I can hardly wait to see how Soul of the Fire holds out, and am expecting it to be better than the rest!

Summary: Terry Goodkind¿s books are INCREDIBLE!!
Review: The first four books were great, philosophy, battle and magic all rolled into each book. The plots were amazing, spiraling everywhere in myriad detail, a whole new world explained well without slowing down the story. The heroes aren't infallible, and Terry Goodkind makes you really hate the bad guys. If the first books were any indication, the fifth will be a superb book. I would think that Soul of the Fire will cripple or destroy Jagang's power base. I mean, all those gars could a lot of damage if they had too, and since they can fly, they could be a perfect scout force. And since Richard is the Caharin of the Baka Ban Mana, he has all those blademasters under his command. Ten thousand blade masters could kill a lot of the Imperial soldiers. Of course, they could be cut down by magic before they could get close, but the Nangtong cancel out magic, so if Richard can take over the wilds, he would have the ultimate guerrilla force. If Richard could meet Nathan, he could taught volumes on how to use has additive magic, although since he is the first war wizard in three thousand years, he would have to learn how to use the subtractive on his own. It would be cool to see Gratch again, and Ann and Zedd in larger roles. It should be interesting to see how Lord Rahl and the D'harans go into Westland. A nondescript ranger leaves, presumed dead, and comes back a year later with ten thousand D'haran soldiers. . . In Wizard's First Rule, their was a lot of sneaking around, as Richard and Kahlan tried to outthink a near omnipotent Master Rahl. I think their was less romance scenes in that book, because the Richard and Kahlan had met, what, a few months before? Anyway, In Temple of the Winds, Richard is the Lord Rahl and has power on a national level, instead of just as a ranger, so he doesn't need to sneak around, he can just demand other country's surrender. In Blood of the Fold, it is shorter than the other books, but look at the non-Goodkind books. Blood of the Fold is seven hundred pages, a lot longer than most books I've seen. Some of the other reviews say that Goodkind just ripped off the story from Jordan, but I don't think so. They seem similar, but there both fantasy. Besides, have you ever seen a totally original book? Some of the other reviews say that adding a chipmunk to Temple of the Winds is proof of Goodkind's loss of writing ability, but I think it adds a another dimension to the master torturer Mord-Sith. Instead of being conscienceless pain givers, the chipmunks show that the Mord-Sith aren't monsters, but they have heart and kindness. It was just buried under madness. I've also heard some people say that Goodkind's writing is extreme, but so is life. Read realistic mysteries, or books based on fact, and you can find more horrific stories there, than all of Terry Goodkind's books combined. Some say that his books are sadomachoistic, but that's just the character. Drefan is demented and sadistic , with an ego the size of Mount Kymmermosst, but it doesn't mean the author is. When Goodkind writes, he writes from the character's view, like when Rachel is attacked by the gar, Goodkind writes using words Rachel or the average person her age would use. When he writes from Drefan's view, he writes Drefan's attitudes along with his thoughts. I think Terry Goodkind's works rival J.R.R Tolkien, but are different. Tolkien writes what his happening from a third person view, tells what they are doing not what they are thinking. Goodkind writes from individual character views, writing not only what Richard or whoever says, but why and with what attitudes. The way Goodkind writes, the characters in the book aren't just words on a paper, they are real people.

Summary: You're going to love it!!!!
Review: Ok, I'll be brief. I got my hands on a reader copy of SotF a couple weeks ago and I plowed through it. You're not going to believe some of the stuff that happens. As to wether the two lovebirds get any peace or not, well depends on the kind of peace you're talking about. Watch out for Anderith. If anybody wants to hear more gory details email me and your questions will be answered :-)

Summary: Great Series
Review: Terry Goodkind has brought to us a mythical land that can take even the most unbeliever of fantasy into the lives of Richard Rahl and Kahlen Amnell. I have all the collection of this series and am eagerly awaiting SOF, This series is the only one that has ever come close to the Death Gate Series by Margaret Weis and Tracey Hickman, The first time I got the oppurunity to read the Sword of Truth I knew this was going to be a great series, I have never been captured in a world as real as this, for all you unbelievers of fantasy read this book, and it will surely make a believer out of you. This is the second best Series I have ever read. Only the Death Gate Cycle was better.

Summary: The greatest fantasy series I have ever read.
Review: I am only 13 but I have read many books. Fantasy is my favorite subject. I can only say without a doubt that this series is the best I have have ever read. After I read the first one I then went and read the rest in a matter of weeks. For all those who think fantasy is not for you, you must read Terry Goodkind's "The Sword of Truth" series.

Summary: While I was waiting . . .
Review: I am waiting like all the rest of us for SOF. I have read all Terry's books and twice over he is just a brilliant writer and I would read anything by him. I can't wait to get my copy of it. But I had to read something else to fill the time. I just finished Katya Reimann's book A TREMOR IN THE BITTER EARTH. Terry recommended it! The review is right there on the page. I stayed up all night reading this book. It is the second book in the series. Now I want to get the first. Terry is not only a good writer, he showed me this book. I read so much fantasy, it is hard to find something new and good. Way to go, Terry! (and hurry up with the next one!)
