Summary: The best series I've ever read
Review: The Wheel of Time is an extraordinary world that Robert Jordan has created for all of us to enjoy. It is captivating and brilliant. Once you pick up the books you can't put them down. You become involved in the lives of each character. You feel for them and can see what they see thru their eyes. Robert Jordan has created a magnificant world.

Summary: The best fantasy series ever, excellent!
Review: Jordan's characters consistently develop, there is always something going on to keep you up at night reading. The twists and turns in the plot keep you on your toes and thinking about the books all the time, but there's only one thing wrong. It's impossible to wait for the next one to come out!

Summary: Entertaining
Review: I've read many of the reviews below this one, and I'm both amused and annoyed at how certain people panned it because it contained too much "religious content" while a comment from the other extreme criticized it for not mentioning a church! Give me a break, the story takes place in a fantasy world. I read WOT for entertainment, and it entertains quite well. If people want to read tomes on issues of morality then they can read those instead of wasting their time on fantasy novels. I am also puzzled by comments about just how horrible the series is by people who have went through 6 or 7 books... one would think they would have stopped before then if it was indeed that bad. The editing and typos in some places do detract, but not by too much. I do agree with people who want closure to the series; After all, it's hard to remember and keep up with the multitude of subplots. If you don't mind going back to the earlier books to refresh your memory everytime a new volume arrives, this is a great deal.

Summary: an intriging series that captures the readers intrest
Review: Robert Jordan has risen to a level beyond my imagination and I hope to finish his most recent work soon. His characters have drawn me in and I feel as if it all happens to me. The detail of his writing is incomparable. When I read his books I can't put them down and never want to.

Summary: Very good...but...
Review: This series is incredible. The way it keeps on keeping on, and keeps on being interesting, is quite astonishing. However, RJ has made numerous editing errors which take away from his work. Whilst, IMHO, the work could be so much better, it is still good enough that people are buying the books in droves. Character development is brilliant although Rand is beginning to become a little repetetive, and there are possibly a few too many intertwining plots and characters with separate agendas (especially for male readers) but on the whole a great series. Oh, and the Daughter of Nine Moons is the Empress of Seanchan, or at the very least, a relative. And Bela is just a horse!

Summary: A real crime
Review: Well, wheni started to read the first book of Wheel of time i really enjoyd, not so much, but as a good fantasy book, so i went to the book store to buy the second and i shocked!! i so 8 books from the wheel of time on the shelf!!! i thought that its a big story and i continued to buy the books, now i finished the sixth book and im very angring!!! because i saw already 14 books in the book store and i looked in the back of the 14th book and i saw that blablablabla and the last sentence said something like this:" Waiting that the dark-master will free from his jail and will stand against the main character for the last battle". i really angry on robert jordan because he took the respected and expencive fantasy books and made from them chip serie that he is continuing. in every book or few books new problem appear and the characters resolving it, and nothing is not happenning!!!! after i finished the 6th book i thought, in what the story went forward and the answer were absoloutly nothing!!! i think that someone need to stop this rediculess serie before it will be late!

Summary: Excellent story, mediocre editing
Review: Robert Jordan has produced a creative masterpiece, and I anxiously await the denouement to come with the final volumes. Nevertheless, inadequate editing leaves numerous minor flaws in his work (inconsistencies of plot and character; awkward and repetitive dialogue; redundancies of narrative) that keep it from achieving the pinnacle of the fiction-writer's art. Still, I would read it again: the storyline and the scope of the spiritual/moral issues with which Jordan deals are quite compelling, and his ability to create a realistic alternate world is rarely matched. Highly recommended for those who like to ponder unresolved ethical issues while at the same time being thoroughly gripped by a (mostly) great read. (See also works by Ursula LeGuin, a "writer's writer" and conscientious moral commentator.)

Summary: definately in my top ten
Review: Everyone says THIS IS THE BEST BOOK OF ALL TIME. Well, i won't go that far, it's rather hard to comapre The Wheel of Time series to Greg Bear's Eon, they're in two different Genera's. I WILL say, however, that while Tolkien basically defined fantasy, Jordan has taken it to a whole new level; he is by far, in my opinion, the best Fantasy author I have ever read. His characters are fully developed, some you love, some you hate. Some are controversial, being hated by some and loved by others. His world is full of life and culture, and his ever twisting plot is gripping. A MUST read.
