Summary: Absolutely Magnificant !
Review: After reading chronicles, I thought you couldn't do a better job at writing a book. Well that was before I read this series. The books just blew me away!Even though there was a lack of action in them, you learn a lot about the best characters in the books. Tasselhof and Raistlin were my two favorite characters in chronicles, and now they're probably my favorite characters in the entire trilogy! I definetly rceomend this book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best book in the series
Review: Although I have heard many different opinions of this book, I thought it was the best book in the series. Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman did an excellent job at describing the scenes and situations.I would say that this is the best Dragonlance there is.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wiess and Hickman do it again!
Review: I have been reading fantasy for years, and reading is my favorite pastime. Needless to say, I've read a ton of books; but I've never read a book like this one.The character development is excellent! A lot of books have "cardboard" characters, but this book had well developed characters that I could actually relate to. The plot is also great; Raistlin kept me guessing throughout the trilogy. In this book you really get to see what kind of a person Raistlin is. It has a very powerful message as well. I liked the Legends trilogy even better than the Chronicals

Summary: Once you start reading it, you can't stop
Review: This is from someone who attacks fantasy books like they're chocolate. Due to my library's somewhat gaps in the Dragonlance series, I'm working my way through it in somewhat of a twisted manner. Spring Dawning was the first I read, and then Autumn Twilight. However, Time of the Twins was my favorite. From where Caramon faints dead away as a drunk who his friends don't recognize at Tanis' feet, to where Tas transfroms himself as a mouse in the Tower of Sorcery in order to follow Caramon back in time (something, in no circumstances are kender supposed to do) to the time Caramon is sold as a gladiator in Istar and Tas triumphantly tells Raistlin he's going to stop the Cataclysm, to the growing affection between Raistlin and a beautiful cleric of Paladine, I could not put it down. It may not have the battles of the Chronicles, but the many quirky turns and creative twists are for anyone who likes the kender, the twins, a splash of insight, and a fantastic read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: If you love the Chronicles, you'll love this Trilogy
Review: I cannot believe someone could actually complain against this book, especially if he has read the chronicles... I recommend this book to anyone that has read anything in Krynn, only in this trilogy do you see Raistlin true power...

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: No less then third in in my best books of all time list
Review: Why are people saying this book is bad? It shows the paths of souls and all the things in life. Legends is the BEST trliogy I have ever read. Read it.Now.Uh..plese?

Summary: More than just boox..
Review: When I first read these novels I was about 16 years old and some sort of spell came over me. If you are an AD&D player or DM this is really a must. Since '92 I have read these books more than 15 times and I will read them again as soon as I have time this summer. They're magic.

Summary: I liked it better than the Chronicles
Review: I am not a Dragonlance fan. I've never enjoyed reading enough, but I did read the Chronicles and the twins trilogy. The Chronicles trilogy was great. The struggle and character interaction was great, but I really felt there wasn't enough development on my two favorite characters (Tas and Raist) until the third book. I have never been one for a character development, but because of the nature of the characters I just had to know more about them.

The Time of the Twins give you the first real glimpse at Raistlin's destiny, soul and power. It gives Caramon something to do other than bash heads and act as his brother's lap dog. It gives us more time to enjoy Tas's antics (I LOVE the whoosh thing). Perhaps most importantly it gives you the chance to see just how manipulative and deceitful Raistlin can be. He truly roped Crysania in.

In short, the book is absolutely marvelous for those who enjoy the kender-kind and dark mages with good hearted twin brothers. Of course, if you don't like any of those, don't even pick it up.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful!
Review: Some people say that Time of the Twins lacked the adventure and excitement of the chronicles, which is true. However, in exchange for the battles of the Chronicles the Time of the Twins has a well thought out plot exploring the human soul. If all you want is blood and gore, you won't like this book, but if you wanted a book that expands on the characters, this is it!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very Good
Review: Despite some of the other reviews I have seen here, I think this book is very well done. I could not put it down, the plot was well developed, lots of action, and Raistlin and Caramon were potrayed well. I reccomend it.
