Summary: Absolutely wonderful!
Review: Terry Goodkind has outdone his-self with this series. I was getting tired of the hohum fantasy and stumbled on these books, I am still waiting for more. Zedd is the greatest, serious but comical, very lovable. The Mord-Sith are brave and give readers intense action and a chance to learn together. Finally Richard and Kahlan go together. Thier fight for humanity and true love is a lesson in itself.

Summary: Better, but still not as good as the 1st one.
Review: I thought this was alot better in comparison to the 3rd book, but If it wasn't for WFR I would not continue reading TG, I find with the first 2 books it was more origanal and exciting. I feel that he has started to loose the originalty to the world he has created.

Summary: Decent
Review: The first was excellent and it has gone downhill since. The same as the wheel of time series.

Summary: What is happening?
Review: Let me just say, that I was a big fan of Goodkind. I loved the earlier books, BUT, this Temple of the Winds is absolutely horrible. First of all, it is extremely repititous to everything else he has written, and without giving any spoilers, remember "Love will conquer all evils!!" Two things that frustrate the heck out of me: 1. Kahlan is supposed to be one of the most powerful, well respected, important persons, in all the lands. However, she never has a clue of what she is doing, shes always crying, she is a complete puppet, easily manipulated, and is spineless. Her charecter has become the most annoying part of the series. 2. Although many people do not want to admit it, Goodkinds similarities to the Wheel of Time is very uncanny. It is WAY too coincidental, and I find it rather insulting.

In conclusion, although this series started off with a bang, I would suggest that you do not bother to read any further. Find another series to read.

Summary: BEST SERIES I'VE EVER READ BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I liked these stories because I think Mr. Goodkind is a very skilled writer and puts alot of detail into all of the books. You can really see in your mind what is going on. The series had a really good storyline and made you not want to put these books down. I can't wait for the next book!! It's the kind of book that has the right amount of action, mystery, romance in it and it all flows into a great story!!

Summary: Fantasy fans: Avoid this series!
Review: Terry Goodkind is the Bret Easton Ellis of American fantasy. One gets the impression that he enjoys depicting sexual violence more than he enjoys telling a story. Read George R. R. Martin's "A Game of Thrones" instead - realistic violence and a serious theme done a thousand times better...

Summary: Great Book, but Richard needs a rest!!!!!
Review: I think this book was great. The plot was involving and characters were vibrant and lifelike, just as in the earlier books. However, I think Richard needs a rest or pause between adventures. He hasn't had more than a couple days of freedom without some evil villain or plot to worry about since the beginning of the series.

Summary: THE BEST PEICE OF WORK I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED
Review: Terry Goodkind has outwritten any writer I have ever read. He has once again produced a fine work of literature that was able to both captivate and move you emotionally. He has created characters so beliveable that you could become that character , as in "THE NEVER ENDING STORY". Bravo Terry , another great work of art!

Summary: Temple of the Winds
Review: Bravo to Mr. Goodkind! Fantasy has finally grown up!

I have read, and thoroughly enjoyed, every book of the Sword of Truth series, especially Temple of the Winds. Also, as graphic as some of the contents of his stories are, they are part of his style! It adds the dark realism that I believe the author is trying to convey. If you don't like it, don't read it.

This book (and the rest of the SOT series for that matter) is not for the weak of heart. If you are offended easily, go read a Xanth novel.

Summary: The most AWESOME book ever written!
Review: This book has mindboggleing complexities, beatifuly descritive writeing, excellent characterization, and a delightfuly twisted plot. By far the best book of the best series I've ever read. I aplaud Mr. Goodkind for never in any way skimping on detail or leaving out graphic content because of a minoriy of pathetic, ignorant fools. I hunger for the next in the series.
