Summary: November 2000 can not come fast enough
Review: This book (THE INDWELLING) held me capture for over 4 hours. The writing was the best of any of the seven books so far. I am looking very much forward to THE MARK in November of 2000. The writing kept me turning page after page, as I was so sure I knew the answers only to be proved wrong again and again. Well done, and worth the wait.

Summary: You've got to be kidding....
Review: Am I the ONLY one who saw zippo in this book....I don't get it...page 365 we find out about the title....and there's only 385 pages in the book...365 pages of filler...extremely disappointed...what the heck gives?

Summary: A lot of dialog with little substance
Review: I am a big fan of the series but I found this book to be somewhat repetitive and tedious. A lot of dialog without a lot of substance. If you look at it on a timeline basis the book covers only a few days. I was hoping for a little more. At this rate it will take a bunch more books to get through the 3 1/2 years left.

Summary: nothing in the bible to back up the premise
Review: Sorry guys, all the stuff they write about was created/invented/dreamed up by some American "mystics/false-prophets" of the 1840's or so. Nothing in the bible anywhere to back it up. Sells a whole lot of books, though. Remember, 50,000,000 people say a dumb thing.... it is still a dumb thing. Not convinced? It's ok... but remember the same folks who get excited about all this stuff voted for Pat Robertson. Now do you think God really wanted him in the White House? Sure as shooting he should run...but win? Never happen. P.S. Instead of reading this stuff... spend lots of time with your children. Remember if you don't tell your kids right from wrong and stuff the pagans will. Hey, why not read good books with your kids! That is was Jesus was on about! Love to all of you, from an evangelical catholic in the boro

Summary: Left me breathless!
Review: I work in a bookstore, so I got to see the book before it came out. I couldn't buy it, though, so I had to read it on my breaks in the back room! The Left Behind series brought me to Jesus, and if that isn't testimony to how powerful these books are, I don't know what is. The Indwelling is a great continuation of the drama and action we all know & love. Of course, when dealing so closely with the Antichrist as a character, we expect heresy & blasphemy - I was nearly sick to my stomach in some places! I almost felt as if I needed to go bathe after reading some of Nicolae's words. But this book leaves us all hungry for more, and especially hungry to see Nicolae (and Leon) go where they are bound (pun intended)!

Summary: Great book, despite predictability
Review: The Indwelling was a great book, and I think that it is possibly one of the best in the series thus far. The revealing of Carpathia's assassin, however, was very predictable, and I expected more of a twist. Some parts of the book also seem too unlikely, like when Rayford abandons Buck in Israel. Despite his character changes, he is still Rayford, and would never leave a man behind. Regardless, I found The Indwelling to be a very exciting read that challenges the reader to compare it to the prophetic scriptures in the Bible. An excellent addition to the already great series.

Summary: WARNING: DON'T READ THIS BOOK!
Review: If you are not familiar with the Left Behind series, don't even think of reading "THE INDWELLING" until you have read the first 6 books. LaHaye & Jenkins have created a literary rollercoaster with this series. There is no way to "jump on the ride" halfway through. From "Left Behind" through "Assassins", the pace has increased. "The Indwelling" not only matches the excitement of the first 6, it actually kicks it up! I have literally read thousands of books in all subjects and nothing has impacted me as much as these books. I have reccommended them to everyone I know. This is not fiction by any measure. You only have to read a few chapters before drawing frightening parallels to world events of today. Not only immensely entertaining, these books serve as a clarion call on par with Gabriel's warning blast itself!

Summary: The Indwelling
Review: Only my page turning was faster than the pace of this newest book in the "Left Behind" series! The story continues and the biblical prophesy unfolds as the indwelling becomes a reality. I bought the book the day of release and have it read less than 24 hours later. Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins you've captured me again!

Summary: Already finished it and eager for more!
Review: I bought The Indwelling at lunch yesterday and could not put it down until I finished it last night! For all of the readers who rated the series negative for lack of action, this book has lots of it. The AntiChrist is dead, Rayford is on the run as the prime suspect, and you don't find out who did kill Carpathia until over halfway through the book. If readers would remember that this is fiction based on the Bible, I believe they would be more satisfied with the series. I am eagerly awaiting The Mark!
