Summary: Don't be Left Behind on this one
Review: They've done it again. While the fist few chapters of this book were a bit slow, once it picked up I couldn't put it down. I tell everyone to get this book this whole collection of books. What a great gift. I have already bought the next one and it won't be out until Nov! If you want an interesting way to learn about revelations or to introduce the truth, buy these books and share with friends. You will LOVE this book. It is well written and each one is worth the next wait!

Summary: Very Disappointed
Review: I have been a big fan of this series and felt the last book, Assassins, was one of the most exciting books I have ever read. I was looking forward to "The Indwelling" being released. But after reading it, all I can say is that this was the weakest book in the series so far. Considering the story takes place over a period of a few days, I felt this book was at least 200 pages longer than it needed to be. I think some of the events in this book were either too long or just not needed. In my opinion, the events of this book should have been combined with what happened in "Assassins" or included in the storyline of the next book in the series. In other words, too much filler leading up to the pivotal scene at the end of the book. If "The Indwelling" is an example of the rest of the series I would have to suggest to the authors that they reconsider this series being 12 books long. I am sure I will read each book in the rest of the series, but if they are like "The Indwelling", I will wait for the paperback version to come out or borrow someones copy.

Summary: What a waste of time.
Review: This book is boorish, just like it's unimaginative authors. None of it could ever happen the way the authors have indicated. It is too bad that there is not a lower rating than 1 star... You babling Christians that think this book is so great obviously have nothing better to read. Why wouldn't you want to read what will really happen instead? Might I refocus your attention to the book of Revelation for yourself... But of course, you have to have an imagination to read that as well!

Summary: Long and Drawn Out
Review: As a big fan of the "Left Behind" series, I must express my huge disappointment with this book. It should have been called "THE LONG-DRAWN-OUT WEEKEND BEFORE THE INDWELLING". I enjoyed reading about all of my favorite characters, but truly, the dialogue was too detailed, and there was little real action. PLEASE, more plot and action next time; let's get on with it! The authors seen to have lost their focus on the biblical events and scripture. Sadly, if the remaining books are this tedious and drawn out, many will lose their interest in this fantastic series.

Summary: Excellent Book
Review: Just finished this newest installment. Wonderful reading. Can't wait for the new one to come in in the Fall. I have read almost all of the Left Behind series and they are riveting reading.

Summary: Page Ripping
Review: Absolutely the best in the series. This action packed book moves rapidly through the familiar locations of New Babylon, Jerusalem, Greece, and the United States. The assassin is revealed, the safe house compromised and raided, and the prophecy of the antichrist is fulfilled in a most ominous way. Our beloved tribulation force characters face the great emotional forces of grief, fear, and shock, and yet there are moments of peace. Determined to survive they are drawn closer together and closer to God. Tsion dreams dreams and is taken spiritually into the realm of heaven, angels, and God to witness prophecies of past and present being fulfilled at the very throne of God. I shall not soon forget Tsion's brief conversations with two mighty angels. Michael and Gabriel. I read this one in two evening sittings and plan to read it again. Had this been a movie more than likely I would have been sitting on the edge of the seat through the whole thing leaving parts of my fingernails behind.

Summary: Not Their Best Work
Review: Too much book; not enough action & progression of the storyline.

It seems that each book gets slooower and slooower. From months...to weeks..to days in this one. I hope the next one spans more than 24 hours. Book 12 will be about the last minute...book 12? do I have patience to read another 4 or so of these books? I suppose so..I've made it this far.

There were some good parts of the book but the authors seem to keep relying on the old 'get me to the airport on time' and 'where the cell phone' tricks over and over--its getting a little old.

The reading level is definitely down there--don't expect any great literary verbage here.

The computer descriptions here are pure hollywood--control anything system from your laptop anywhere type stuff. I suppose as someone in technology, those types of things always ruffle my feathers.

If you are into this series, there's no way you'll miss this book--you're hooked, right? To me this isn't a go get it immediately book. Its a wait for the paperback or check it out of the library book.

I have higher hopes for The Mark.

Summary: Readers must "Take Possession of the Details"
Review: If you read this book primarily to find out who killed Carpathia, chances are you will find yourself somewhat disappointed. The book does answer this question, however, you have to wait after the very detailed plot and character development before this mystery unravels.

The tribulation force is now scattered and facing several dangerous challenges. The battle between the tribulation force and the Global Community Forces take place in several different areas:

*Rayford must escape Isreal while giving himself a spiritual inventory.

*Tsion Ben-Judah gets a glimpse of battle in the spiritual realm through a series of dreams.

*David, Annie, Mac and Abdullah are on the front lines of the war as they battle for the tribulation force right under the enemies nose

*Buck Williams investigates the mysterious disappearance of Chaim Rosenweig

*Leah runs into another believer who has an inside track on Hattie's location

All of these subplots initially develop separately as communication between the body of believers is temporarily severed. They then come together and the plot climaxes as Fortunato seems to gain more political and supernatural power. Does Satan take possession of Carpathia's body and ressurect it? This question is answered near the explosive end of the book.

Tim LaHaye's and Jerry Jenkins' talent for excellent character development and incessantly intriguing story lines is manifested in this book. You must be patient and appreciate the details in order to fully enjoy it. The authors know how to tease you enough so that you keep reading. Although a lot of question are answered in this book of the series, it creates new questions that will make the reader hungry for the next book "The Mark!"

Summary: Good but pace is slowing
Review: This whole series is great. However, I am finding that the author is slowing the pace down. The author may see the dollar signs and try to drag the series on forever. I would recommend this series to everyone, especially non-christians.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Enrapturing continuation of a must read series
Review: At last the long awaited indwelling. This book is not as drawn out as some of the others. It is easier reading. Wonderful! We finally find out who killed Carpathia
