Summary: Moving through Revelation...slowly
Review: Like several other reviewers I pre-ordered THE INDWELLING, book 7 of the Left Behind series. After waiting several months for it to arrive, I read it in 2 days...now it will be a long time waiting for the next book. Is it possible that LaHaye & Jenkins are hoping the Rapture will occur before they have to finish writing the series? The drama in this book remains intense but the pace is slow. At this rate it may take many, many more volumes to cover the last few years of the Tribulation. How much agony can the Tribulation Saints endure? How long must we wait to read the entire series? And how long before the series becomes a movie?

Summary: sad excuse for a book
Review: this is by far the worst of the left behind series. Don't get me wrong, i loved the first one, but this is almost too much. It seems to me that Lahaye is just dragging the books out to make more money. The characters are all whiny, totally transparent, and they lack no depth whatsoever. This novel should have been a few chapters in the next book. Really bad writing, even the editing is bad, i found so many mistakes it was confusing at times. I would not purchase this book again, And sad to say but i think i am done with the " Left Behind" series.

Summary: Good... lots of action .... but equally disappointing
Review: Well... I have mixed emotions about this one. The story is definitely captivating... full of all the intrigue we've come to expect in this series. I didn't put the book down until I finished it. However, I was disappointed that they took 400 pages to fill 3 days of activity. There is a lot in here that I feel is not that necessary. Hope the next one moves along better.

Summary: A revelatory read
Review: This is yet another success for Jerry Jenkins and Tim LaHaye. I've gotten very attached to the series, and pre-ordered this book in February. I completed it the day after it arrived, and it's already being shared with other readers around our church.

While I realize that this is only a fictional account of the author's interpretation of some events in Revelation, it provides clarity in that it suggests a plausible series of events. Additionally, it sparks renewed interest in Revelation, prompting discussion among readers (both believers and non-believers) and further research from additional, non-fiction, sources.

It is a good, solid read.

Summary: Very Disappointing
Review: The Indwelling was certainly not to the standard I had come to expect of this series and was certainly misnamed. Very little of the book was on that topic...too much detail and not enough plot. Hopefully the rest of the series will return to the high standard of the first six books

Summary: Inspiring as always!
Review: My only complaint is why do we have to wait so long for the next book? The authors always leave us hanging on, and I can't stand it. (Just kidding, I have no complaints about this series, I just want to keep reading this story past the final page.) This particular book is more of the same, which is a high compliment, but of special interest is the new dream life of Tsion and the much larger role in this book of David Hassid. I can't wait for The Mark this fall, and hope I can find some other quality Christian literature for the time in between.

Summary: Indwelling
Review: I could hardly wait for Indwelling to hit the bookstores. So, I had to find another way, Amazon.com. They brought this great! book to my door at work and I proceeded to read. I had already re-read the previous six (6) three times. I have shipped this series to my nephew in prison in Virginia. He has since shared with many inmates. He always has many, many questions about Revelation. This series has prompted these question. This series is a great way to peak the unbelievers interest in God's Gift of love through Salvation through Jesus Christ. It warms my heart to be able to share in prison the shared talents of LeHaye and Jenkins. Keep writing as I continue to search the Scriptures for growth and knowledge in God Word. Thank You.

Summary: The Indwelling
Review: My husband and I read the book in 1 1/2 days by taking turns reading to each other so we could experience it together. Neither of us were willing to wait for the other to finish it first! Considering we're not avid book readers (only read one other book from start to finish before this series), this series has made readers out of us.

The only disappointment was that it didnt cover a time period longer than a few days, but it sure was an action packed few days! Cant wait for the next one. We feel like the characters in the book are friends that we need an update from. So Jerry, if you read this, feel free to move up the date of the next book release.

Summary: Picking back up
Review: OK, I'll start by saying I enjoyed it. This book may only cover a period of a few days, but the authors have given us some new ideas to chew on. Chloe's obsession made me think, and Tsion's visions added a new dimension to the series. I kind of expected the events at the end, but it still got to me. On the downside, I keep hoping the characters will become a little more believable. They are constant jetting around the world, and the resources available to them are mind-boggling. I keep thinking, "What about the average new converts? The ones without all those resources? What are they going through during all this?" I'm sorry to say that whenever one of the Trib force finds a new way to personally become one of the most important people on earth, I say, "Yeah, whatever..." and start skimming. I'm hoping The Mark will actually talk about "the mark" in depth.

Summary: Long wait for a disappointment
Review: I eagerly awaited the next installment in this series, but have to admit I was disappointed with "The Indwelling." Although it "reads" very well, the book only covers three days. The consequences of the wounds suffered by the Antichrist are either not mentioned or are not biblically accurate, something that surprised me coming from these two biblical authorities. There was the usual jetting around the world we have seen in the previous books...one wonders where DO they get the money for all the jet fuel and planes they wreck?

Their new headquarters needs a better explanation. Either it has a roof with solar cells, or it doesn't. If it has been cut in half, how can a helicopter land on it? The hero, Capt. Steele, was left as a simpering, indecisive leader. How and why did this happen?

I found it long on detail, but not the helpful kind. Get it and read it, but don't have high expectations.
