Summary: There is a message
Review: If you have been reading all 7 books then you are probably aware that there is a message behind these books. They're not for entertainment purposes only. Lahaye and Jenkins are trying eveyway they know how to reach those in the world today who are going to be left behind. Biblically speaking they stay very close to the prophecies of Revelation and Daniel. Of course they have had to take some literary lisence to flesh out people and events into a work of fiction. However, the bible truths are in there plain as day and the answer is the same in our life as it is in the lives of those in the book. The question is do you want to hear them. I've anxoiusly awaited each and every book, and I usually can't put it down till I finish it. I've cried along with the Tribulation force as they've lost friends and family. I've rejoiced with each convertion and I know I will miss these characters when this series ends. For those who would like to know more on the actual biblical prophecies I'd highly recommend the book "Revelation: God's word for the biblicaly inept."

Summary: Interesting
Review: Actually, I loved this book. I think that the authors did a better job on this one than any of the others. The only slight problem was that LaHaye and Jenkins took a bit too long to get around to some of their points--but I suppose it was better for clarification purposes. The events that actually transpired were very interesting, and the Biblical correctness was amazing. This is a very good book, and I recommend it for everyone.

Summary: Read It
Review: What can I say, if you are reading the reviews of this book series, you must be interested in end times theory or are a christian hoping to see some validation of their book in a review.

Well, I have read the entire series, and must say I have enjoyed the books. Whether or not you agree with them on the political/religious angle isn't really important, unless you want to be Left Behind...

If you haven't read the predecessor volumes, get them first. Go to your public library (I know, you are reading this online at Amazon.Com, still, go to your public library sometime too, ok? ), I know that's where I found the first Tribulation Force novel while researching something else. Then, read this one.

I hope provisions have been made to publish any remaining editions through some kind of royalty agreement they have with their publishing house should the rapture occur before they get to #12...

Summary: It just keeps getting better and better...
Review: I must admit, I was disappointed when I read some of the reviews written here prior to reading the last book. I was afraid I was going to be disappointed. Not so! I thought the book was great and finished it in 3 days! The authors continue to make the characters more real. I can't imagine what I would be like half way through this time, after all, I am still human. I like the way the writers continue to let us see the characters inward as well as outward emotions. I want to know what they are thinking and feeling. I can relate to each character in some way.

All I can say is, thank you Jesus for saving me... I would not want to be "Left Behind."

My only complaint: waiting so long for the next book! :(

Summary: The suspense keeps building
Review: I really liked this book. I feel the suspense keepsbuildingwith each new book in this series. I'm really looking forwardto the next book.

Summary: The Indwelling
Review: Although the story is riveting, it moved more slowly and became wordy in placed. It seems the authors were milking this part, so that they could stretch what remained. Last book ended with the assassination, this book only got to the resurrection. I did however, enjoy this story and look forward to the next volume.

Summary: More of the same...
Review: I don't know how long this can continue, but this book justcontains more of the same schlock as all the others. Poor writingcombines with silly plot lines to make another big-seller that deserves doorstop status instead.

Summary: Are we being strung along or what?
Review: I have to be among the #1 fan of the Left Behind series. I'm usually on the waiting list for the next copy to come out because the suspense kills me! However, book 7 (7 of 12 now) left me really asking "where's the meat"? There was so much unnecessary fluff during the first 300 pages of this book that instead of my usual 1 day reading time, it took me almost 4 days because I kept getting bored! This book clearly did not move with the same intensity as the others and neither was it able to keep my attention. I really have to ask, what was the point? Is this to be expected of the remaining books? Is this a marketing angle now to get us hooked on the books, expand from 7 to 12 books to make more money, and totally leave the audience numb! I thought Left Behind was a good witnessing tool to give a copy to friends who may not know Christ; however I don't feel that way about this one. Unbelievers would be just as lost as the characters in this book. Lahaye and Jenkins are excellent writers which is why I'm totally disappointed in this book. Please, oh please tell us we can expect more from the next one! Or perhaps we should stop at this one and just chalk it up as the world's marketing strategy...the old bait and switch!

Summary: A Must Read!
Review: The latest installment of the Left Behind series is a must read for anyone curious about Revelations and being "left behind" after the return of Christ. I have read all 7 books in the series and have given them to friends who do not share my spiritual beliefs and they have thoroughly enjoyed the story and the characters. I would bet that it has caused a few to re-examine their priorities as well. The story is more detailed than the previous few books with a slow build towards the climactic end. I, for one, can't wait until book 9 in the Fall!

Summary: a little disappointed
Review: I think the book could have developed more of the story. It seems as though no progress is being made. The entire story takes place across a 3 1/2 day period. This could have been condensed down to a paragraph or two. After I finished the book, I felt as though I had been taken advantaged of.
