Summary: Another Hit
Review: I am completely amazed at how Jenkins writes and the spiritual depth of Lahaye. I just finished reading this book. You see, I've been reading the adult series from the library and buying the kids series. As you can see from the date of this review (August 6, 2000) I've taken long enough; well actually, the library has 2 copies and I've not been able to get either since last Thursday. The popularity is tremendous and I can see why. The action and fear of the Tribulation is brought down to earth by the emotions of the characters, which we can all relate to. This book is amazing, going from a one-wheeled crash landing in the Super "J" to the resurection of Antichrist himself, all backed up by scripture. It does only span several days and that means 7 or 8 more books, but I personally like that and am dying to get "The Mark" and see what has happened to David's girlfriend.

Summary: Disappointed
Review: This book failed in many ways to live up to the others in the Left Behind series, but I buy and support Christian authors. One new writer I read this weekend blew me away with her spiritual insight, wit, and ability to weave a spiritual mystery that kept me guessing to the end. The book is called a Force of Habit. It's a must read for those who enjoy Christian fiction.

Summary: A Wonderful Book, all of them
Review: These books are incredible. I had a friend at work who told me about the book and brought the first one in to me. She was, at the time, reading "Tribulation Force" I got into the book so much that I passed her and couldn't wait for her to finish the next one that I went out and bought it. Then I bought the next one and then the next one and so on. So I got her to start reading them again.

I then told my sister about the book, she had already been reading, but had slacked off. She started reading it again.

These books are incredible. They are breath taking. I can't wait till the next one. I am now reading the Kids books, which are also great.

You don't want to miss these books. They are great, I am glad I didn't know about them when they started out a couple of years ago, because I am impatient, I want to read them now! I can't wait till the next one! Everyone needs to read these books!

Summary: The action is just beginning---
Review: Despite what a lot of people are saying, in my opinion, The Indwelling is just as good as all 6 of the previous in the series! It is "due time" for the two witnesses and Nicolae will finally show his true colors. The trib force is on the run--each trying to just stay alive and get back to the safe house before they are found. I can't wait for The Mark, since The Indwelling leaves us just as Nicolae is being indwelt by satan. The action is just beginning!

Summary: The Indwelling: The Beast Takes Possession
Review: Considering how much I liked the first six books, this one was definitely a disappointment. The entire book covered a grand total of three days and didn't say anything that we didn't already know. I felt it was just a "quick fix" item to fill a gap till the next "real" book comes out. At least I'm hoping that the next one, The Mark, is better written and has more meat to it than this sad edition.

Summary: Too Many Books
Review: I like this series and I am sure I will follow it to the end. The "end" however does not need to be 7 or 8 more books down the road. The Indewlling, while good, only covers a few days. The series has become slow and plodding. I am not sure if the authors feel the content dictates the pace but I wonder if they are stretching it in favor of revenue. I was hooked by the explosive pace and the content of the first two volumes. Each since has become slower and slower. Pick it up or you will lose readership would be my advice to them. This is a great opportunity to bring those of us who are not as religously focused as we should be "back home". Don't lose it.

Summary: Awesome
Review: This will be short, all I can say is when does the next book The Mark come out, I want it. I have shared all seven books with friends, they love it too.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great! But Short
Review: As an avid reader of the Left Behind series, I found The Indwelling to be the shortest book yet. Most of the books top out at 450-500 pages. This one is only 389. But beggers can't be choosers. This book is the best in the series, yet. The action is more intense and the plot keeps you guessing, espicially towards the end. If any of you trust Albie, you can e-mail me. But not to give away much of the story, Nicolae comes back to life and people die, the end.

Summary: Very spiritual and riveting
Review: I have found this book in the series (I have read all 7 books twice now) to be the most spiritual so far. I found it to be a huge cliffhanger, with the Trib Force on the run to a new safe house, and Carpathia just having come back to life and threatening the Trib Force with what's to come. I can't wait for the next one!!!

Summary: Are you people brain-dead?
Review: I'm referring to the people who gave this book five stars and called it "well-written." It was just tripe and I'm sure the authors know it's tripe. I'm also pretty offended that some of reviewers imply that people who criticized the book are not "good Christians." We're criticizing men, not God.
