Summary: Unless they improve this is it for me
Review: The Indwelling" is the worst edition of a series that seems to have been reduced to a cheap cliff-hanger series. Even tough I don't exactly agree with the author's theology I have enjoyed reading the series until the last two to three books. I had pretty much decided after the last book that the story had run its course and the author's were no longer able to produce stand-alone books that would build a nice series. Then I read "The Indwelling" and was jerked through half of the book with veiled remarks and innuendoes just to find out that the murderer was who I already thought it was. If the series gets any worse the dialogue will begin to have such memorable lines as, "It's quite, too quite!" The first few books were creative and compelling but the series has now been reduced to the style of a cheap 50's Saturday morning matinee - the only purpose of each book is to get you to read the next book. Since, I already know the ending of the series (i.e. God wins!) I have no need to read just to find out what happens. I will not waste my time with anymore of this series unless I hear rumors that the books have returned to their original semi-creativeness.

Summary: Awesome! What a way to make the bible come to life!
Review: Like millions I anxiously await book 8 in this series. The Indwelling has been my favorite so far. I sat on the edge of my seat the entire time and read the book in one afternoon. I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend the Left Behind series to everyone.

Summary: Fall to your knees and ask for forgiveness
Review: By the end of this book every no saved person will be asking for salvation!!!!

I have always been a student of the Bible and Revelations but this series has tought me a lot that I didn't know or completely understand. I can't wait for November so I can start book 8. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do when to series ends...I guess start it over agin.

Summary: Left Behind
Review: I have not read this series in book form, but have heard all seven books on audio. Here are the good point and some of the many bad points of this series:

Good: - Frant Muller is the narrator/reader for the books

Bad: - Bad writing - Bad plot - The Christians often lie without hesitation to save their own lives in the story; the story never dealt with this and at least seek to justify it - The Christians in the Trib Force are quite carnal. They lie, they have emotional problems, they want to kill people, they want to kill themselves, etc. - The other criticisms raised by other reviewers here - and many others...

Summary: moving to a crawl
Review: The first two books in this series were good, but since then its been getting worse book by book. This book moves so slow its unbelievable. It leaves you with the impression that the authors have run out of things to write about and are deliberately slowing the story down banking on the success of their first books.

Summary: Losing touch with God's Word
Review: I was really disappointed with this, the 7th of Tim LaHaye's "Left Behind" series. The first several books were easy and fun to read--and they really got into these peoples' walks with God and their focus on God's Word. The last couple books in the series, however, have begun to drift away from that focus on "how will my life be changed today because of what I am reading?" and from the focus on God's Word. Tsion Ben-Judah, the leader of the Tribulation Force, becomes more and more of a savior than even Jesus. One man told Tsion that "he owed his salvation to him". And those who follow Tsion literally are proud to be called "Judah-ites" -- and the word "Christian" is used less and less. I think what I was most disappointed about, though, was the fact that the authors have moved away from the Word of God. I was not encouraged to read the Word more, to spend more time in prayer, or to strengthen my walk with God. Instead, the authors dragged this book out for over 200 pages just to get to the end and make a bunch of exciting things happen so you will want to buy the next book. The members of the Trib Force spend over 100 pages just trying to find each other. I am ashamed that these Christian writers appear to be wanting to write additional books rather than getting to the point--who is God to me, today? And how will I answer when He comes, regardless of how He does?

Summary: I LOVE THESE BOOKS!!
Review: Since my sisters got me started on these books, I couldn't put them down! Even though I am a Christian and have gone to church all my life, the book of Revelations was always confusing & scary to me. But since reading these books, not only am I entertained, but I am also enlightened and educated. The authors have combined the facts of the bible and an entertaining story. The Left Behind series has everything from the Bible, romance to mystery/suspense! I can't wait for the next book to see what the Tribulation Force has waiting for the Antichrist!

Summary: The Saga Continues
Review: After reading all 7 stories in the Left Behind series, I must admit that Indwelling was a little slow. The series is informative and kept me excited from the first page to the last. However, some of the redundancy in the story drove me a bit crazy. Nevertheless, I am waiting with baited breathe for the next installment.
