Summary: Well done Mr. Feist, a good beginning to a great series
Review: I actually give this book 4.75 stars, but five will do. This book is excellent to start. It is well written, and is a good tale to read, and continues well with its sequels. I recommend the entire series.

Summary: A Great Fantasy Novel
Review: I enjoyed this book alot.It kept me so interested that I did not want to put it down,So I ended up staying extremely late just to see what would happen next. This is one of my favorite books another of my favorites is Villans by Necessity(by Eve Foward) which I believe you would like if you liked this one.I can't wait for magician master to come, which is the conclusion to the magician apprentice.

Summary: To be honest...
Review: To be honest, this was one of the last Riftwar Saga books I read. As a matter of fact, it was. It didn't really add much to the series, and most of it was pointless for me. The only thing it revealed was *how* Tomas got the Armor of White and Gold. Perhaps it added nothing because I never read a series from the beginning. Oh well. It was still good.

Summary: I like Banannas
Review: This book is one of the best i have ever read. scratch that. It is the best book i ever read. And I don't think I ever will read a better one. Raymond Feist does a wonderful job at making the charactors come to life. He puts plenty of detail where is needed. But he also leaves a lot to the imagination. If you are just starting to read fantasy novels this would be a great start. The plot isn't to hard to follow, but, that doesn't make this a simple book. As for myself after reading all his books (with the exception of the Krondor books which were complete garbage)I found it incredibly hard to pick up anouther author thinking anything to this man would just be a let down. But I did, some authors i have read are Tolkien(completely overrated),Hobb(excelent), and now i am on Jordan which is turning out very good.

Summary: Descent fantasy.
Review: "Magician: Apprentice" is an interesting piece of fantasy, but Feist doesn't spend nearly enough time developing characters (with the exception of Pug and possibly Thomas). I found Carline with her love troubles belonged more to a daytime soap opera than to a serious fantasy [sic]. And I don't have much of a stomach for the goody-goody characters who fill this book. Having said all that, it is a good read. The story has a nice flow to it, and it is a perfect book to pack along if you are going on long trip, and need something to read while you are in the not-too-critical a mood.

Summary: Magician Apprentice..Feist
Review: I read this book and was hooked, it's thrilling and I couldn't put it down. This book has adventure, romance and has been the start of a great many hours of entertainment as I read all the others to follow...

Summary: Wonderful Book
Review: Magician: Apprentice ranks up there as one of the top books I've read all time. Fiest creates not one, but two different worlds that go to war in a magical and bloody war. All the mythical creatures - Dwarves, Elves - are used to enhance the depth of the book. Fiest puts together a wonderful story of romance, mystery, kings, princes, magicians, and bloody conflict for land.

Summary: Magician
Review: I think this book is a good start to the Rift war saga but if you read this please read the other they tell alot more about the two worlds

Summary: writer: apprentice
Review: After all the glowing reviews I expected more, but was thoroughly disappointed with the pedestrian writing style and mundane situations - I haven't been able to get past 100 pages or so and this is going to mold on the shelf on which I keep my amazonian disappointments.

Summary: Wretched
Review: If this is the author's preferred edition, I would hate to see the original. Absolutely horrid, predictable fantasy that jumps around too often, skipping events that would have been interesting to read about. Our hero Pug (a truly profound name) ends up battling "aliens" from another dimension, who are actually just a bunch of Japanese people, judging from all of their names! Terrible.
