Summary: he best book Iv'e read in a WHILE !!!!
Review: This guy really is a great writer !!! And one thing is, the description doesn't go too much into detail to bore me asleep. READ IT !!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A worthwhile improvement to an outstanding book
Review: If you haven't read Magician before - why not? One of the best books by one of the best fantasy authors - great scope, convincing characters, and development of these characters and relationships in a consistent and careful manner. If you HAVE read Magician before, in the other edition, it's well worth buying this edition. The additions are not instantly obvious - because they fit so well.

Summary: should have been rated 30!!
Review: This was the first book I've read of Raymond E. Feist and its the best book I've read. All his other books are excellent as well but this one just has a great feel to it. Order this book and request a few days off work. Its so addictive you won't be able to put it down.

Summary: This is the Book that started me on Fantasy
Review: This is the best series that I have ever read. It is captovating, to the point that I never wanted to put it down. It is very reallistic and life-like. Feists details are so indept that you can almost picture the characters fitting their roles. This is definatly the best series I have ever read.

Summary: The best of the "Rift War Series"
Review: This is the book that sets the stage for all that follows including the collaboration with Janie Wurts on the Kelewan series. "Apprentice" and "Master" should be on everyone's bookshelf.

Summary: Best Series
Review: I specificly liked Pug and Tomas, but I also liked everyone else. I have read the bood like five times, and I found out something else in every time I read it. It was really a good book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Amazing detail and imagination...
Review: Now this is a book with character! Feist takes character after character and, coupling them with an excellent plot, builds them within the pages. He has a good eye for detail and can walk the fine line between too much and too little. If you need a fantasy novel to read, this one is definitely one to pick up.

Summary: If only I could put 6 stars out of 5
Review: Well as the story goes: I wasn't a really big reader. I read the occasional book in school, you know the ones your teachers force you to read, but I never found anything that struck me as being brilliant. Well one day I was at my girlfriends house and saw a book on her book shelf, and thought that looks interesting. I'd never read any fantasy books before so this was my first, and I tell you I couldn't put it down. It was brilliant, in fact it was better than brilliant. The chacters are so well thought out and the plot is intreaging. Feist is truly a "Magician" when it comes to telling a good story.

Since reading Magician (I call it Magician because here in little ol' Aussie we have both Magician: Apprentice, and Magician: Master in the one book) Ive read all Feist's other books and they were just as good as this one. Well actually, I tell a lie Im currently waiting to pick up Shards of a Broken Crown (The final book in the Srpent War Saga), so I havn't read them all. Also, since reading Magician I have read a whole variety of other fantasy books, and none of the ones I read even compare to Feist's writing. I definetly recomend this book, and all his others.

Summary: One of the Best Books Ever Written
Review: This is an excellent book. The characters are well developed, the plot is excellent, the world is well developed. This is the kind of book you read many, many times. I know I have. The riftwar saga, of which this is a member, was the second really good fantasy series I read. The first one got me interested in fantasy, but this one really got me hooked. If you don't like this book, there's something terribly wrong with you.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best book I have ever read
Review: I never read books that much up till this book. One day one of my friends said he knew a book I would love and let me loan Magician: Apprentice. I was trapped in that book, I could not get away from it from front to back. I have read the whole book through at least 3 times. I am now a avid reader and have read all of Feist's books. Feist knows how to intoduce characters and keep you turning pages. I highly recommend this book to almost everyone.
