Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Amazing Review: This is a really good book. I can really relate to what Feist writes. His use of details allows my imagination to run wild. I reccomend this book to others. I have read everything Feist has written. His writing just gets better and better.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A TITAN IN THE WORLD OF FANTASY!!! Review: Wonderfully written! Pug as well as every other character in this book would become real people to me. This book got me back into reading!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I fell in love with Midkemia because of this book Review: When reading this book I found myself actually there with the characters, Sharing Pugs pains in his quest to become a Magician and I feared for Tomas as if he was a real person. I fell in love with the quiet character of Martin and I almost hated the tsurani for what they did to midkemia. I cried my eyes out when characters like Roland, Borric and even when Rodric, King of the Isles, died. I've read this book hundreds of times and I've read all the ones that follow, even the new one, Shards of a broken Crown. I have to say Feist has captured my soul with his wonderful imagination. Feist has a way with words which lets you into the mind and heart of his characters and his detail of features found in Midkemia helps to actually take you there. I've never read anything that has had the same effect on me as these books have. They are definately something special.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: brilliant, stunning, superb-what elsem can be said! Review: The finest of fantasy novels, more readable then Tolkien and a perfect example of how to create the perfect escapist paradise! The tale of Pugs and Tomas's traumatic beginnings in the riftwar saga and their rise abve the normal station of man. A story of alien invaders, dragons and the magic of a lost civilization all interact to form the greatest of novels!!!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Simply outstanding! Review: This was the first fantasy novel I read and is by far my favourite. Feist is comparible to other greats such as Tolkien. If you are interested at all in the Riftwar/Serpentwar saga then this is the book to begin the adventure of your life.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: This book is a good for people who like magic. Review: This is a good non complicated book to read. I read it and now I want to read more Fiest books. I recomend this book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Fiest is the Pug of all fantasy writers Review: Fiest truly has a great gift for imagination, and invigors a new way of writting fantasy. The character developement is compelling and the conflicts of battle, riveting. Honestly, you could learn a lifes lessons reading Midikimea.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Maybe the best fantasy book available Review: This is the first fantasy book I ever read and, while the rest of the series did not live up to my expectations, this book astounded me. Simply put, in my opinion, it is one of the best books ever written. Buy it, read it, and then read it a few more times. I would compare it to Tolkien, but I threw the Lord of The Rings out of the window in contempt when I tried to read it after finishing this book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A crowd-pleaser that draws the reader in fully. Review: This is a book with all the aspects of a good fantasy franchise. The world is enough like ours as to be a part of our history, and the characters are complete and lacking in few respects. The story flows from beginning to end with no lags in continuity, and Feist does a good job of incorporating warfare, strategy, and magic on a level any reader can understand and appreciate. A good read for anyone.
