Summary: This was an exciting packed book that keeps you hooked.
Review: Raymond E. Feist is an awesome author. This was the very first Feist book that I read and I loved it. Now I've read all of the others and they are all good but this one beats the 5 stars it is a six.

Summary: Destined to topple The Lord of the Rings as the fantasy king
Review: One of the best fantasy books of all time, Magician: Apprentice never offers a dull moment with a mix of love, swordplay, and magic. Feist entraps you in his world of Midekemia. This is the finest book in a truely great series destined to topple to The Lord of the Rings as the ultimate fantasy series. Read it! We may never see a Raymond E. Feist again.

Summary: Outstanding adventure of epic proportions.
Review: I must admit that I have read the rift war saga several times and still become swept away into a land of fantasy every time. Character development and plot are superb with the flow of action nonstop. For anyone who loves sword and sorcerery , this is a must read. Begin an epic journey of fantastical proportions following two young boys as they discover their own unique skills in an ever changing world or worlds. One as a warrior and the other as a mage, both of mystical proportions.

Summary: A must for all fantasy lovers
Review: Magician was the first fantasy book I had ever read... That was 12 years ago... I must admit that the series has somewhat spoiled me in my expectations of fantasy stories... I have read it over and over, discovering something new each time... If you ever read another book, make sure it is this one

Summary: Will draw you back to read again years later.
Review: Now 33 years old, I first read Feist's book as a high school senior. I adored it then. After the series has come full circle years later, I see the shortcomings of stories that began as an obvious extension of a Dungeons-and-Dragons style roleplaying game. But I still enjoyed Magician. Each of us wants to be the "ugly duckling" heroes Pug and Tomas who lead into the Riftwar cycle.

Summary: I think this book is the best book I have ever read!
Review: This is the best book I have ever read because it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time, action packed and full of adventure and a lot of magic. If I were to rate this book on a scale of 1 to 10 I would have to give it an eleven. A must read book for people who like fantasys and even for people who don't. This is what I think of this

Summary: I almost flunked because I couldn't stop reading!!
Review: It is true that the first part pictures an ordinary world with ordinary activities (ordinary considering all the charm and magic) and you're waiting for something great to happen. But when you've read the series, you can't forget those days and how the characters' lives were changed forever. With all their power and glory, brought through war, you can't help but feel nostalgia and realise that it would have been better for them to have remained as the interesting nobodys they originally were. If the book had started with a faster pace, this wouldn't have been possible.
