Summary: great book
Review: This is a great book in a great series. This is the best series I have ever read.

Summary: WOW!!!!
Review: Wizards First Rule is probably one of the best books ever written. I have never read something quite so compelling in my life. Not only does the plot completely enthrall, but the characters are so well written and well rounded that to all intents and purposes they're real. However, I must warn you that Terry Goodkind is not one to treat his characters with kid gloves and to be honest, I have never read a book in which the author does such painful things to his lead role. All in all, even if you can't bear to see Richard tortured etc, this book is still worth every penny you spend on it and you will read it over and over again.

Summary: One of the Worst Books I Have Ever Encountered
Review: This book was a worthless copy of other writer's fantasy. I put it down about mid-way through when Goodkind began plagiarizing J.R.R. Tolkien. Overall, the writing and plot is worthy of any elementary school child. I am sorry that I even felt the need to devote any more of my time to this worthless piece of trash.

Summary: A great read !! You'll love it...
Review: If you liked the Belgariad,Mallorean,Elenium by David Eddings or are a Tolkien fan then you will love these books...When i saw that book 3 was a NY times bestseller..i figured, my this must be good, let me start with the first one...I wasn't dissapointed. The book was large but i breezed through it and the rest of the series in no time! The books are non-stop action! You cant put them down! I have everybody at work reading them..lol Not only is this series an epic adventure...but its also a love story about two totally different people, and how their love affects the world and characters around them. Good and bad people, wizards, magic and creatures keep you enthralled! Enjoy!!!!!

Summary: I would give this series 10 out of 5 stars if i could.
Review: This whole series by Terry Goodkind are the most captivating and enthralling books i have ever read, i hated books until i read these and when i did i read all four books in two weeks. I'm still waiting very anxiously for the fifth book. These books are permanently imprinted in my mind and i continuously go back to them to read my favourite bits. Make sure you read this series because you won't have the slightest comprehension of what your missing out on. Be sure not to have a negative attitude from other reviews because you won't enjoy these books as much as you can. I also believe that the violence in these books only added to the raw brilliance that makes me speak so highly of this series.

Summary: One of the best I've read
Review: This book is one of the masterpieces of fantasy books. It keeps you up in suspenseful action, not knowing what will come next, without any pauses except for learning information through great dialouges. The book has an impossible-odds kind of plot, each time Richard and Kahlan miraculously make it through. I would recommend this to anyone who likes fantasy. In fact, make that anyone who likes to read.

Summary: Difficult to put down
Review: I picked up this book at the library and continued to try to find excuses to read it when I should have been working. As much as I enjoy Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series; this book was easier to stay with. I can't wait to find the other books in the series.

Summary: The most thrilling, edge-of-your-seat fantasy I've ever read
Review: From the first moment that I started this book, I could not put it down. I was hooked from the beginning and still am. The following books in the series have never let me down and I still crave for more. It's too bad that I must wait for some of Goodkind's magical works to still be published.

Summary: Inspiring to all!
Review: A fantastic beginning to the most inspiring saga I've ever read. I've always loved fantasy, but Wizard's First Rule broke completely new ground for me. I'm truly hooked. I've always wanted to be a writer, and this series has pushed me over the edge; forcing my creative juices to run wild. And every series must have a beginning, and what a marvelous beginning it is.

Summary: Poor writing and characters, but worth a look.
Review: Despite being praised as phenomenal on the cover by Piers Anthony, the writing is technically some of the worst I've ever seen published in fiction, certainly worse than Anthony's. The story is written more like a report of the actions of characters who have little or no deapth rather than a tale of the adventures of people with aspirations, desires, and challenges to face. A strange aspect of the book I've never encountered before is that the characters behave in illogical, two-dimensional, affected ways that reduce the story's reality and deapth. The majic and monsters are relatively creative. It's worth a look because there is an undefinable quality to the story-telling that induced me to read on despite the constantly annoying flaws.
