Summary: i hate to read.......
Review: Reading is something I do not have the patience for! But I will be honest with you, this book and the rest of the series had me crying, laughing, jumping for joy, and on the edge of my seat.I went through so many emotions from reading this book that I was actually shocked! I was not aware that a book could do that to you. When I picked up the book(s), I had lost my surroundings. I became one with the story. I felt like I was right there just out of the characters' reach. Terry Goodkind has an uncanny ability to describe things and you actually see it, not read it. And the effort that went into all of the characters makes you love each one. There are even some you will love to hate! I got about 12 people to read these books and eachone has thanked me for the recomendation! Give them a try, you won't regret it!!!

Summary: A book that just won't let you put it down!
Review: "Wizards First Rule" is an excellently made book. It is always full of action and suspense and once you start reading it, it will not let you put it down. It captivates you and keeps you in it's hold until you finish it. The BEST fantasy book ever made since J.R.R. Tolkiens "Lord of the Rings" series.

Summary: The John Grisham of the Fantasy Genre: Formulaic, unoriginal
Review: Wow, what an amazing story! We've got our clueless hero, forbidden love, and a Really Evil Bad Man. How do we know he's so evil? Because he abuses children, of course! There's no easier way to establish the badness of a character than show him or her abusing kids, especially if you don't want to take the time or do the work in developing your characters. But maybe we should give him a break: after all, since the main characters are so flat and forgettable, why should their nemesis be any different? The over-long and ultimately worthless S&M sequence in the latter half of the book is an element only an idiot could accept as a 'creative sub-plot'. Why does our hero get to go through all that sexy-ish torture?? Why, to dull himself to all forms of pain, that's why! Someone needs to remind Mr. Goodkind that gratuitous tawdriness doth not a creative work make. Want to create a compelling, creative world? Give us its wonders and differences from our own. Taking a boring world, adding characters with names no more interesting than Bob or Jane and adding a half-baked magic system doesn't cut it for fantasy. And no, the appearance of dragons doesn't make it any better. I can't imagine why this man sells so many books; it must be the effect of "the bigger the crowd, the lower the collective IQ."

Summary: A REVOLUTIONIZED BOOK -and series- FULL OF GREAT THRILLS
Review: ive now read the series several times, wizards first rule more than the rest, and have memorized probably almost everything. the books content is well written and has a lot of great detail and explains the characters minds and ideas or thoughts of everything, and describes well the way things are for material surroundings and buildings, etc. the book/series is the best and most heartfelt thing ive ever had the thrill of being able to read. and ive read much more. ive been caught up in this series/book and have not been able to put it down for another, other than another in the series, but ive tried. im extremely pleased with how these are written and how they are managed. and the more harshly the books get judged the better they seem. i recommended this book to several of my friends and they seem to be very pleased with the series waiting to borrow the rest of my series, which i no longer lend out since i'll be reading the books. well i recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good book.
