Summary: The best ever science fiction series
Review: Raymond E. Fiest would have to be the most enthralling author of the last decade. After reading "Magician" through to his new book "Betrayal at Krondor" I would have to say that no other author can write as he does. When reading his books you feel as if you are in them. Once you start "Magician" then you will be forever waiting for his next book!!!

Summary: great book
Review: This book is so good that I am getting a second copy after the first came up missing. It is a book to be read time and time again.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good, but drawn out in some parts
Review: I love books like this that deal with an individual who has an inner power to do good for his people, and even manages to have a few girls with him... The most exciting parts about the book are the battles and heated discussions included in it. At times, though, I found myself reading on only to get back to the parts about Milamber. I you like fantasy books or are interested in becoming a wizard, read this book, because it is good most of the time.

Summary: excellent book, by far my favourite
Review: "Magician" is an excellent book that wouldn't let me put it down. It has everything that I ever want to read about: adventure, romance, mystery, war, death, friendship, family, as well as many others, through the journey through the life of Pug, from when he was just an orphan kid, to when he became a master magician with a family. The relationships between Pug and Tomas, and Pug and Carmine were strong and enduring, and I couldn't wait for the reunions between these characters after Pug came back through the rift. This book shows views between people of different worlds who have different ways of life through a person who lived in both world's eyes. I would definitely recommend Magician: Apprentice and Magician: Master to anyone who enjoys reading.

Summary: Best novel I have read
Review: Well done Mr Feist this book is pure fantasy told in the best way possible. Thank you. I loved reading about Pug and Tomas growing up and the adventures that came out of it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best book I have read in my life.
Review: I read the revised edition simply called Magician. I finished it in two and half days. I was so caught in this enchanted world of honour, magic, love, hate and war that I just could not put it down.

My favourite character is Princess Carline. She reminds of my girlfriend. I respect the balanced nature of Pug the young magician. I am in awe of Tomas the holder of powers of two worlds. The royal family gives a good example of what good can power in good hands do. I hold the characters as role models for myself.

I can not wait to read the rest of the Riftwar Saga.

Summary: Ugh...
Review: Are we talking about the same book? This book stinks! I felt as if Mr. Feist rushed through most of this book, I mean, there were enormous gaps when years and years would go by and he hardly mentioned what happend. The ending gets REALLY annoying when everyone and their mother starts saying how much better a king Arutha would make. UGH! The last chapter is just lame. Horrible ending.

Summary: It captures you imagination and draws you into another world
Review: This book was written by someone who understands the world of a misplaced boy who longs for the comfort of belonging and in his seperateness finds that his longing is never completely gratified as he journies from one alien land to another. For the individualist this book will have great meaning as he/she finds him/herself akin to Pug.

This story is truly the story of our basic search for belonging and meaning, and the reflection of the dreamer in every one of us.

I recommend this book as a worthwhile read even from a social sciences/humanistic point of view.

Many thanks to the author for such a eccellent work of art.

Summary: Very good, interesting & spellbounding
Review: Actually by doing this review, I'll be doing it for both magician apprentice and master as a whole. Both books i would say are.........GREAT!!!!!!!! In the apprentice what is interesting are the adventures Pug and Tomas experienced together, especially the part with the dwarf chieftain, Dogan. And also the part where Tomas met the dragon and got himself a unique and powerful armour. In the master, its equally exciting, because it starts to talk about how Pug discovers the unknown power within him and unleashes it. Full of magic, war and mystery. Contains all the ingredients perfect for a fantasy book. ( and I would say all the ingredients are of the Highest quality). A must to read!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: No complaints here
Review: This book is an excellent read for fantasy and non-fantasy fans alike. It has all the elements of a good fantasy but plot twists which make it completely original. This is an excellent read as I said before and I highly recommend it.
