Summary: It needed to be longer!
Review: I only give this book 4 stars because, although it is a very good, entertaining novel, it is not a truly great one. It hints at greatness, particularly in the passages dealing with Pug, Tomas, and Macros (which should have been longer, including a greater history of all Valheru), but, in dealing with Murmandamus and his army, and the various other characters in that portion of the storyline, it descends into mediocrity. Also, the ending was largely a disappointment. The battle between Tomas and Draken-Korin, and Ryath and the Dreadlord, was interesting and well done, but after that it simply fell apart.

Summary: I hate reaching the end of this saga!
Review: What an amazing adventure!! Feist has an incredible knack for keeping the pages turning. My only complaint is he sometimes leans towards wordiness. But who am I to say. I've read other reveiws on his works and laughed at what I considered idiotic criticism. Read and enjoy!!

Summary: And the loser has NIL points !
Review: Am I glad that I did not buy the book, but a colleague of mine. As much as loved Feist's Midkemia Saga as a computer game, the more disappointed I am after having tried to finish reading the Saga.

In the German language we have one word for it: Schmalz, schmalz and more schmalz. This is not what I expect from a fantasy book.

It is a pity, Amazon does not offer Nil points in the ratings.

Summary: If only he had written a decent ending...
Review: The book was action packed and good fun until the ending, which could not have been more outrageously cheap. When I read four entire books in a series, hundreds of pages of which were devoted to the shallow and uninteresting Tsurani, I feel that I am entitled to a decent ending. It would be pointless to give away what happens, so I'll just let it spoil itself on its own when you read it. Despite the cheap solution, I still actually think that the book was worth reading, and at least the book didn't end with all the heros suddenly dying for no apparent reason like in some 1970s movie.

Summary: I love ALL of Fiest 's work
Review: I have read all of the books in the Midkemia/Kelewan series.(The Serpentwar Saga, The Empire Saga and the two other books about Arutha sons) And I love them all. The only complaint I have is that I don't have enough time to read them again.

Summary: AWESOME,JUST NOT AS GOOD AS MAGICIAN
Review: If I ever really enjoyed any of Feist's works, I really enjoyed this amazing masterpiece. I don't think it should even be compared to Tolkien like so many others have done. This is an excellent book with wit and humor(I thought it was the funniest in the series). Of course, it can't surpass the two Magician books, they're simply the best. Oh yeah, I just want to say something, women readers might find Feist's female characters disgusting, but I'm a guy so I really didn't care.

Summary: OH YEAH!
Review: This is a fantastic book. If you miss this series, you will have missed the greatest work of fantasy since "The Lord of the Rings." Feist certainly is the new Tolkien if anyone is, but I don't think you can compare the two. Tolkien invented fantasy, and you should not put down or praise Feist or any other fantasy writer because of that. Anyway, this is an outstanding work, don't miss it.

Summary: The book A Darkness at Sethanon gets a thumbs up!
Review: A Darkness at Sethanon and the entire Riftwar SAGA is defenitely recomended. It takes Tolkiens idea of blending friendships, action, mystery and magic a step beyond. The book sucks the reader right in and create a new world.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best
