Rating: Summary: On the Contrary Review: Contrary to some people's opinions. . . this book is masterfully created to depict what I and countless others, believe that will happen one day. People who think the plot is one - Dimensional, or Anti-Catholic, or any other petty problem that they could come up with are obviously ignorant enough not to look closely and read what the Book is really trying to say. The fact of the Anti-Christ, Rapture, judgements, seals and everything else is not only thrilling to read about. . . but important to know about so that you can know the truth. . . and the truth will set you free.
Rating: Summary: Interesting, but¿ Review: "Left Behind," (the series,) was an easy read, with an also too easy to follow plot. I preferred Jerry Furland's view of a more realistic turn of future events in his novel, "Transfer: The end of the beginning." It has a more believable scenario, is less opinionated, and is more intelligently written than "Left Behind." "Transfer" left me wanting more, and thankfully there is-it is the first novel of a trilogy. I recommend it highly!
Rating: Summary: Review # 186 Review: "Transfer-the end of the beginning" by Jerry Furland is a much better read, makes a lot more sense, and the best part, it is probably exactly where we are headed in the year 2009. You decide.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful illustration of the future Review: Tribulation Force is an inspiring continuation of the Left Behind story. The characters are like friends that you desire to keep in touch with. I found that once I was introduced to the Left Behind family, that I was unable to break the connection. I know that I will continue to read this series of books as long as they keep coming. As a christian, I feel that everyone needs to be prepared for the second coming of Christ, and if they are left behind, at least these books will be there for them to find guidance.
Rating: Summary: Two down and Three to Go Review: What an awsome read. I wouldn't have evey thought I could be turned on to a series of books like this, but I am sold. Not only is the content eye opening and thought provoking, but the authors are some of the best that I have read. Two thumbs up!
Rating: Summary: This book is better than the last! Review: It keeps getting better! Who could have believed it! The tribulation force is sent in split up and sent in various directions and a spectacular ending setup for book 3-nicolae!
Rating: Summary: Another recommenation for you. . . Review: To all lovers of the LEFT BEHIND series, let me recommend another sensational author you will love: Glenn Kleier. His novel, THE LAST DAY is nothing short of brilliant and I believe you will find it just as astounding as I have. It's become my all time favorite novel and I'd like to share the great enjoyment it gave me.
Rating: Summary: Good post rapture stuff/sappy romance Review: The authors are MUCH better at bringing a sense of reality to the post-rapture world than in their development of a connection between lovers. The "aw-shucks" romance between Chloe and Buck is very poorly written. Agonizing over holding hands and Chloe's coyness over whether she had been kissed by Buck - PLEASE, next time more bible-related action and less dumb romance! On with the plagues!
Rating: Summary: Plotless Rip-Off Review: While the first book was hardly great literature it did benefit from the intriguing premise of the rapture occurring and leaving millions behind. Once that scenario played out the writers followed it up with one-dimensional characters and boneheaded plotting (only the three characters figure out who Nicolae is! ). "Tribulation Force" makes its predecessor look like Tolstoy. There is no real plot to speak of and the writers obviously are stretching this saga out as long as possible. Don't waste your time. Nothing happens until the last chapter!
Rating: Summary: A Great Read - Tribulation Force! Review: This is a great series on two levels. Not only is it a good story but it also pushes you to study the Bible for the prophecy behind the story.
