Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: modern lit gone good Review: I heard of this book from rumors of a movie being made of it. Ordered it from the "cult" hubbub. So well written that I would have to stop and actually study the construction of the sentences and paragaraphs (J. Irving Fans know this need). The story of a man dying at 43 and waking up at 18 and reliving his life and re-choosing his life decisions several times is exciting, and most of all, philisophically, morally, introspectively told. Never condescending, always thought-provoking. My fave.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Replay Review: Spectacular, touching and magnificent. IT has everything you could want in a drama. With lots of love making, heartbreaking, soul shaking love. Also bafflement, if you skip words or pages. It'll keep you thinking, and asking for more you won't be able to put this book down for a second it has a lot to do with real life situations and decisions. The author, Ken Grimwood, is magnificent even though the book was made before I was even born. It makes you look at life from a different angle it you could live life over and over and over again. I love this book because it has to do with real life situations and stuff I've been through and go through later in life. I think the plot was great. I mean how would like to die and be a college boy again. When and it you read this book you'll look at things differently and wont take things for granted. You'll love it trust me.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A book to read over and over Review: The best thing I can say about this book is that everyone that I've lent it to did not want to give it back! This is truly a classic book in that you can read it again and again and not get tired of it. The plot has been written about many times in other reviews so I'm not going into it. My recommendation - for time travel lovers - don't miss Replay.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Gripping nightmare! Review: Time travel? I suppose... Romance? So the protaganist has sex on occasion - that doesn't qualify it as a Harlequin. What Replay is is a visceral, soul jarring metaphysical nightmare. Imagine waking up 25 yrs in the past realizing you just died seconds ago but 25 years in the future. Wash, rinse, repeat. Thats what you have with Ken Grimwood's Replay. Jeff cycles through 25 years of his life, trapped in a loop of reliving his life from 1963 to 1988. In the first "replay", he gambles become a millionaire on the foreknowledge of his last life. Round 2, he buries himself in a hedonistic rebellion towards God. Later on he discovers another peculiar person with an uncanny foreknowledge and discovers that she too is a replayer. Jeff and Pam ask themselves - How else can I live my life this time? Round 5, they advertise their struggle to the world and become neo-Nostradamuses, predicting major events years in the future. After creating a financial empire, a blockbuster movie, writing a Pulitzer Prize winning novel, marrying and raising children - the slate is cleared only to be lived again. Like a pendulum losing momentum, they discover that they wake up closer and closer to their deaths. Will they finally reach eternity? Were their replayed lives some skewed form of reincarnation? The writing is nothing phenomenal and the characterization of the main characters is so-so. What makes this book a winner is the deftly written plot. Imagine having to write about not one lifetime, but several! I highly recommend it.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Loved it Review: I bought this book and loved it. I then had my mother read it so we could discuss it. We were both intrigued by the concept of living your life over and making it right. Being both Sci Fi fans we talked about the possibilities. I lost this book to a batch going to charity and could not find it again... I looked it up ,ordered it and re-read it. Since then I have given it to at least three people. I may have to buy another copy. If you've ever had a case of "what if" get this book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Interesting Review: "Replay" by Ken Grimwood starts off slow, gets bogged down in massive detail but page after page his writing skill draws you into the midst of the mind boggling concept of replaying a specific segment of your life over and over. As each life plays itself out Grimwood's characters manage to live differently. The book keeps you entertained clear to its unusual end. Beverly J Scott author of Righteous Revenge
