Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: One of my favorites Review: I first read this book 5 years ago. Since then I picked it up in various libraries, but couldn't find it in a bookstore. After discovering Amazon.com, this book was in my first order. Something about it just struck a cord with me. Maybe it is the fact that the characters are so real. Real people with real failings dealing with problems that are out of the ordinary. Highly recommended
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: WOW! Review: Eleanor Roosevelt was right!
"The future belongs to those who believe in their dreams". Read and believe. You'll never regret it. You'll never forget it. You'll feel haunted forever and never want the feeling to go away. Yes, its exactly that good. I too have bought several copies, all before AMAZON was even carrying it...before they knew they could even locate it. I forgive all who have not returned my older copies, for this is truly a concept for the ages. Good literature does not have to begin with the Bible, be serious in purpose, or be written by people who have either one name or legendary PR basckups!
Literature, like art, is simply a form of artistic endeavor which evokes a response. If you disagree, then read the reviews below. If you agree, then do yourself a favor. Forget today's trials and woes for a few hours and just believe. Just as Chicken Little only had to be right once, so did Cinderella, Prince Charming and Ross Perot. [Yes, Ross Perot. He may be the wrong man, but he had the right message]. To say the book appeals to a 'cult following' is to demean a fine read and a wonderfully imaginative writer. Indeed, the only way any of us could have done better would have reqired us either to be Ken Grimwood, or to relive our lives again! VOILA!
Just go buy it already.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: In a word... "OUTSTANDING!" Review: Replay is one of the top 5 books I have ever read and I really can't say I have enjoyed another book more. The replaying concept is very compelling as are the various problems associated. Problems you and I might never have conceived. This book is a must read for anyone and everyone. For those of you looking for a similarly outstanding read check out Memoirs of an Invisible Man by H.F. Saint.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: If I could just live my life over... Review: What would you do if you could live your life over? What changes would you make? Especially if you knew what you know now! Could you prevent the Kennedy assassination? Bets on Super Bowls and World Series would net you a fortune. How about financing Bill Gates when he was just starting out and becoming a billionaire? What would you do
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A whole new look at life Review: I have read this book about twenty times and each time I find a new concept that I haven't seen before. The storyline is great but Grimwood has a way of making the characters seem alive. I have leant it to at least 10 people and at least 3 have never returned it. Currently I am copy-less. I hope evryone enjoys this book as much as I did
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: IF ONLY... Review: This is one of my favorite books....has been for awhile. Recently discovered this web site and tonight I decided to see if anyone else is hooked on the concept in this book. I feel like a replayer who found comrades!! I once lent this book to a friend who never returned it and I couldn't bear to be without it so I went out and purchased another copy! As for the story...what a great concept...getting to do it over again...I've always been fascinated with time travel and Grimwood really satisfies that interest! I'd love to hear recommendations for other stories on this genre...
I'll keep checking for other replayers that "grok"(another great story!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Facinating concept Review: One of my favorite books. Period.
I've read more of Grimwood just to see if there's a sequel in him somewhere. So far no luck. Hey Ken, let's do it again!
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A good read. Worth the time expended. Review: As a fan of any type of time manipulation or "what ifs" , this story held my attention from cover to cover. I've reread this book twice! Unheard of in my hous
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A wonderful story with insights that relate to us all Review: I reread the book every few years - maybe a total of 5 times now, and every time I read it I see things that I didn't recall from prior readings. Really, just what the Replay character experiences in his repeated lives.
A very interesting concept - done in an overly simplistic way in the movie Gound Hog Day, which doesn't hold a candle. If we lived our lives over again, what would we do differently, and could we really live a different life? Are we sure we remember who won that race or game 25 years ago? Was that the year IBM went up, or did it have a quiet year then? Do we want to get together with our long time spouse, or would that be a dishonest relationship since the replay-er would be keeping a secret and would know what would happen to the spouse over the years but couldn't share it? And if we wanted to contact another replay-er, but didn't want to seem crazy, how would we go about it? Same thing with trying to change history.
The book seems to have a cult-type following. Virtually everyone I know who has read the book buys multiple copies to give to others to convert them.
I suppose it is a universal dream to live our lives over again, knowing what we know now. The book makes clear that this is not so easy, and it makes the reader think about what he/she would do under similar circumstances.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Nothing so fantastic than the search for life's meaning. Review: After reading Replay you will never look at your own life in quite the same way. Simply the most honest and amazing book I have ever read. I have personally bought a half dozen books to give away to friends and family as gifts
