Summary: Don't Pass This One Up!
Review: After I read this book, I couldn't get the idea, that the author actually experienced what he wrote, out of my mind. I know it can't be true. Such happenings do not and have never existed. So, if you meet him, ask him if it really happened and confirm for me what I thought I knew.

Summary: Loved it... over, and over and over again
Review: I've read this book every year since 7th grade. I keep reading it, and keep learning more about myself each time. I have read it about 4 times, but have lost my copy. I plan to order a new one and read it again. It's simply the best book I've ever read, with the most intriguing concept. email me if you know of any other books by Ken Grimwood that are also good.

Summary: Grimwood's REPLAY: Premise and Message Top notch
Review: The premise of "Replay" is original and provocative, yet its moral message is even more powerful. The phrase, "If I knew then what I know now, I would have done things a whole lot different," takes on a new meaning as the hero uses his knowledge of the past to change his history and of those around him (and not always for the better). For a relatively underground sleeper of a novel, "Replay" has what it takes to be up there with the ranks of a Steven King concepts like "Talisaman." "Replay" would make an excellent stage play and/or movie. Justin P.

Summary: WOW! This book caught me off guard...
Review: During a birthday party at my house, two friends raved on and on about 'Replay' and asked me what I thought as they picked the book off my bookshelf. Gee, had never seen the book before! After their reviews, I decided I better read it. I could not put the book down! I have recommended it to many friends and have given the book as a gift. For a week, I contemplated what I would do in a replay situation. WARNING: DON'T FINISH THIS BOOK BEFORE YOU GO TO BED! My mind raced all night!

Summary: Superb!
Review: One of my top-ten all-time favorites! I've bought and loaned it at least 5 times over the years. I have been a Ken Grimwood fan for many, many years. If you like Replay, and time travel, try to find Breakthrough, also by Grimwood, and the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I wait anxiously for each new book by Ken Grimwood. I wish I knew more about him (aren't we all curious as to where he comes up with his ideas?). Each book he writes deals with time travel in a slightly different way. Enjoy!

Summary: What would you do differently if you could relive your past?
Review: The intriguing premise of being able to relive life from a certain point in your past forms the basis of this very clever book. The author has taken all of our most -commonly thought of "what if" or "if only" scenarios concerning daydreams of our past actions, and has woven a plausible cause-and-effect result in each case. Do you think that given a second chance to relive the past, knowing what you do now, you'd do things differently? Here's your chance to see what would happen...

Summary: It's worth reading over and over...
Review: "Replay" is one of the best books I have ever read. As I was reading, I kept thinking about what an incredible experience it would be to 'replay' my life. I have read it twice, and recommend it to anyone who asks "Read any good books lately?".

Summary: Buy This Book Now
Review:

I don't think I can add much to the previous reviews of this book. I too heartily recommend reading this as soon as you can. One aspect of the book that Ken Grimwood really utilized to a full extent is the power of nostalgia. In this book, the power of nostalgia is multiplied over several lifetimes and made more painful because of the near total lack of mementos from the past, and no one to share the memories with (until some further events in the book).

A great book overall.

If you liked this book, I definitely recommend reading David Gerrold's _The Man Who Folded Himself_, whose premise is a bit different from _Replay_ but has the same feel of having an extraordinary life experience, but being unable to share it except with a few select people.

I'd also recommend finding a video of _12:01_ (TV movie made in 1993), based on a story by Richard Lupoff. If you thought "replays" could be fun as in the movie, _Groundhog Day_, this short film will leave you devastated and convinced that it'd be an utter nightmare.

Check 'em out.

Summary: couldn't put it down
Review: For a few weeks before I stumbled onto this book, I
had been fantasizing replaying my own life -- from
1961. I had developed the fantasy pretty far when
I found Grimwood's amazing book on this concept.
I read books in short installments, except this one,
which I could not put down and stayed up most of the
night to finish it. Grimwood develops the concept very
well, and I kept going back and rereading portions for
several days. I couldn't get Jeff and Pamela out of my
mind. Jeff's reunion with the young Pamela after their
first replay together is particularly compelling. However,
I was disappointed that Jeff and Pamela did not learn more
about love during their lives together. But I loved this book

Summary: Intriguing, in-depth tale exploring multiple possibilities.
Review: When Jeff Winston dies and awakens in his college dorm room the first time he has no idea what is happening to him. Although he gets little in the way of answers over his multiple lifespans he does find one thing to be true -- we always have much more than one choice in the direction we can take our lives. Ken Grimwood does an excellent job of exploring life's multiple avenues. His focus on a specific 25-year time span allows him to do so in a completely believable manner. Reading Replay will surely send you to your own youth, memories and choices made. Which of us wouldn't liketo see what would happen if we'd just...
