Rating: Summary: A book that makes you say "wow" Review: I remember reading Replay when it first came out. It was one of those books where I read in one setting and was in a daze for a couple of days afterwrords. It puts a new perspective on how life should be viewed. The book left a nice warm feeling inside and yet a sense of loss when it was all over. Wow.
Rating: Summary: Utterly dumbstruck. Review: A friend came by and left "Replay" behind on my sofa. I picked it up, started to read and was immediately hooked. 6 hours later, I put it down, finished, my head still reeling from the storyline. Imagine every decision you ever made, being re-presented to you, to make again. This story of two people whose lives are joined by sheer, impossible, circumstance made me laugh, love and cry. This is one of those books that will make you want to read it again and again. Buy it.
Rating: Summary: The best book of ALL time! Review: This book was totally killer. My dad let me read it dispite its adult content because it was so amazing to him that he had to have me read it. Once i started getting into it, i read it until i couldnt stay awake and i even fell asleep with the book in my hands. it took me a good 4 days, but in the end; i was totally satifyed. So satisfyed that i went at it again, reading it once more. This is a truely amazing book!
Rating: Summary: The only book that I have read more than 10 times. Review: The pages are tattered, the cover long since torn away, but REPLAY continues to jump of my shelf every year for a re-read. The story of love lost and found, the journey of soulmates from lifetime to lifetime, and the sadness of growing apart are all the elements that make this book a must read. More than a must read, a must own because if you don't have it on your nightstand at 2 in the morning on a sleepless night, you don't know what falling into a dream inspired by a book is all about. Can there be a sequel? Please? Marc
Rating: Summary: By far, the best work of fiction I have ever read. Review: I spotted the book on a supermarket shelf, and the title intrigued me. I bought it, took it home, and didn't stop reading until I finished it late that night. I've read it at least once a year since then (about 12 years), and enjoyed it more each time.
Rating: Summary: A life-changing experience Review: "REPLAY" brought me the closest I've ever been to a religious experience. It changed the way I look at my entire life. I will never forget the effect Ken Grimwood's story has had on me. The author should know how he has profoundly altered my life's course and the way I will live it day to day.
Rating: Summary: I read it 10 yrs ago and it was outstanding! Review: It's time to read it again. I was cruising thru Amazon.com and decided to search for Ken Grimwood. To my surprise, he has penned several books before Replay. I read Replay over a decade ago. The book was my brothers, so I will be getting a new copy and will be checking out Grimwood's other novels. I would recommend this book to everyone. It's good to see that it has such a strong following. I often wonder when the movie wil be made. James Cameron should direct!
Rating: Summary: One of the great page-turners Review: Glad to add my two cents to the praise for REPLAY. I found it by accident, then couldn't put it down. When it first came out in paperback, I bought as many copies as I could afford and gave them to everyone I knew. Only one person wasn't knocked out by the story. One friend, a lawyer, tried to get the movie rights (They were already sold.) I keep looking for copies to buy and give away. Truly one of the greats reads.
Rating: Summary: THIS IS MY FAVORITE BOOK! Review: I borrowed and read this book several years ago. To this day I have been searching for it to buy and have for my own. I recommend it to EVERYONE! A facinating premise.. This book will never leave me..
Rating: Summary: A Gem of a Novel Review: "Replay" is a must-read for every lover of science fiction and fantasy. It ranks among the best of the genre, and among the best tales I've ever read. If you like the idea of time travel or reincarnation (it's a bit difficult to classify), you will enjoy Replay. This is one book I'll never loan out for fear of not getting it back.
