Summary: I like this book so much I've bought 8 copies!
Review: I picked up the paperback in a drugstore rack in the 80's during a snowstorm. Sent home from work, I devoured it at one sitting. I usually avoid Sci-Fi stuff because it's often long on detail but short on character development and plot. This book spoke to me like no other novel in years. I immediately went out and bought a second copy for my brother who handed it around the family. I bought another for a friend who seemed stuck in mid-life crises. His also made the rounds. I bought a hardcover for myself because mine was tattered after the 2nd reading. Like a fool, I lent it to someone and never got it back. I've since bought myself another paper copy plus several more as gifts. It's a classic - well written, a sense of immediacy in the exposition of the plot as well as a great feeling of closure at the end. A terrific read!

Review: I read this book when I was in high school and absolutely loved it. It has all of the elements of a sci fi novel without all of the "hard" terminology!

Summary: Everyone should read this book!
Review: I first read Replay back in the 80's and was profoundly affected by it. I re-read it perhaps 3 times before losing it, and, believe it or not, forgetting the author's name. For several years I searched bookstores with no success. I remembered the author's name started with a "G", but the staff I asked drew a blank every time. I assumed that the book was not widely accepted, and that my reaction was more or less unique. When I decided to visit Amazon.com for the first time, the first book I searched for (I read hundreds of books) was Replay. Imagine my delight in not only finding the book, but also in reading many other reviews like this one. I'm ordering my new copy immediately. Definitely one of the best books I've ever read.

Summary: A realistic view of reliving your life.
Review: It is the best novel I have read, and I love reading. It deals with the subject realistically, if you can do that with this. The author does a great job of keeping things moving, not letting the reader get bogged down into details, which would be easy, but to give a great story, and a protagonist that everyone can identify with. I just wish I knew how to e-mail or where I could send a letter to the author to thank him for writing this.

Summary: One of my Favorite Books of ALL TIME!!!
Review: I've often wondered what it would be like to replay my life...Grimwood shows that this is not necessarily advantageous in "Replay". I first picked up this book back in the late 80s or early 90s and LOVED IT!!! I've "replayed" every year since then. Whenever I tell a friend that this is one of my favorite books, they tell me to rent Groundhog Day. Well, I've seen Groundhog Day and there is no comparison! The guy in that movie had to keep replaying the same day over and over. Jeff gets to replay decades. Therefore, there's more of a historical context and a sense of real time travel.

Summary: If There ever was a "MUST READ" This is it!
Review: I first read this book about eight years ago and it blew me away. I read it while on vacation in the Bahamas and the three people with me read it also. All agreed that it was one of the top two or three books that they had ever read, and three of the four have been avid readers for many years. We had great fun discussing the book and the inevitable "what if's" that it presents. Do yourself a great favor and buy this book. I guarantee that you'll want to loan it out to your best friends as soon as you finish with it. I re- read this book every year or two and enjoy it more each time. I have just ordered 5 more copies, nuf sed.

Summary: A true insight to holding every second, and everyone close!
Review: This book seems to find its way to those who most appreciate it- I happened to glance at it on a friend's room-mate's shelf, asked to borrow it, took it home and glimpsed the first few pages at 9pm on a Friday night. At 5am that Saturday morning I closed the book- unable to put it down I had finished it straight through. I tried to get some rest- but couldn't, my mind wasn't able to slow down from the tremendous perceptions and insights the book had given me not just on my own life, but on the lives of everyone I interact with. No matter where in a person's life they come to find this tale, it gives everyone the realization that it is never to late to make changes and to seek our dreams, we simply need the view of a much bigger picture of ourselves and our lives than we ever imagined we could possess.

Review: I was given the book to read by a workmate 5 years ago and could not put it down until i had finished. I cried and laughed and actually thought i was a part of the story by just reading it, Grimwood made it all seem so real.I loaned the book out, only to never see it again. I searched high and low in every bookshop i could find but failed. That is the affect that the book has on you and i dont blame the person who stole it,it obviously had the same affect on them as it has on anyone who picks it up and wishes they had a chance to replay half of thier life.I had never met anyone else who had read it and could not stop telling my fiance about it, then amazingly she found it in a small second hand bookstore on our honeymoon.She also could not put it down and cried and laughed throughout the book.I read it again and have ordered another two for safe keeping, I couldn`t stand not having it around again. I now have a beautiful wife who i can talk too about how magical and mov! ing the book is and how spooky it was to find it on our honeymoon.

Review: well , hello fellow replayer's, I do truly feel like a replayer, just last week while driving to work, I saw a lisence plate it said " replayer" I wanted to stop him, and see if he was one of us, it had been about 7 yrs and I hadn't met anyone who read replay, I told many people to read it, but you know how people are. somone actually took it from the break room at work, <it was a library book,> I went to pay the fine, it turns out they returned it only a week late, I felt bad that my fellow replayer was one of such low integrity , because I wanted to disscuss this book so desperatly!!! it was ashame they had to steel it !!!! whom ever had, was not about to fess up to steeling a library book,and discuss it !I felt sorry for this indivisual, because they couldn't disscuss the book and if u have read it you are aware of how much you need to disscuss this book and share your experience with others,finally I met someone that reads alot of books, so of! course I recommended Replay ! the first thing he said, was "I couldn't put it down" How happy this made me! to know I wasn't alone loving this book! and now finally had somone to share the experience !! since the experience ,I have purchased the book twice ,I've loaned it out three times, one of my friends truly enjoyed it! we had long discussions savoring the joys of replay so far my sister and best friend have not returned it, or disscussed it, and the book it has vanished! again!I only hope they have enjoyed the book as much as I have ! it is just the most amazing book i've ever read !I could go on and on about my enjoyment , but I would perfer you to read it for yourself again, and again, my best to you, I'll see you the next time around ,
