Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: One of the most thought-provoking books I have ever read Review: Replay is the type of book that you read quickly and remember for weeks after. Without giving away too much detail--it would ruin the story. The main character dies on the first page and begins to relive his past 25 years, making different choices, answering those questions that we all seem to have. What if I knew then what I know now? Would it make a difference? Would I be more satisfied with my life? You leave this book with the awareness that each moment is precious, and it causes you to re-evalute your priorities. I can not remember the last time a book has impacted me in this way.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A must! Review: One of the greatest books I ever read - great story, great characters, thought provoking. The story of a man who returns 25 years to the past.. lives his life as he always wished he could (with future knowledge). And then finds himself back in the past, where he started. So he lives his life, again. After 25 years he returns once more to the past. and once more. and more... What can a person do when he lived his life - so many different ways? This book is simply perfect! I wish Ken Grimwood wrote more stories... One can only hope .. (Although "Into the deep" is also good, but not even close to the quality of this book)
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I Read this in one sitting. Review: I recently decided to catalog my book collection. I am up to more than 600 paperbacks, and I'm not even three quarters through them all. What this has allowed me to do is find all the duplicates that I can give away or sell back to the used bookstore, and also find all the books that I purchased and have not yet read. Replay was one of those books until last night. It has been enjoyable seeing books that I forgot I had, and reading the back covers of books I bought but have not read to see why I bought them. When I picked up Replay again, I couldn't even remember where I bought it. My copy is pretty beat up, so I assume that it was a used book store. I read the back, and was intrigued again. Then I read the first chapter to get a taste for the book. After that I shut down my laptop, sat in an easy chair, and proceeded to stay up to 3:40am to finish the whole book in one sitting! I haven't done that since I picked up a friend's copy of The Shawshank Redemption in college! I know I have rambled here, and I apologize, I'm a little tired. I won't claim this book changed my life, or that it's a pattern for better living, just take my word that it's a damn good book. One of the best I have read in ten years.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Speculative Fiction - You decide! Review: I first read REPLAY in the late 80's and have since read it numerous times, each time picking up something new. Replay still sends a chill down my spine as I consider how I might change my past. Ken Grimwood touched that place in my mind where the reality of my life meets the fantasy of "What If"? The way he weaves the scenarios with the past we all recognize is amazing. It is a shame that Starsea never was, or was it? If you have the least bit of imagination and ever thought about what you would change if you could, then you absolutely MUST read this book...in fact read it several times...believe it or not it gets better each time. I only hope that some visionary in Hollywood becomes inspired to make this into a movie.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: One of my favorites Review: I read this book back in the early 90's. My sister lent me her copy and told me I had to read it. I absolutely loved it. Over the last 10 years I've thought about different parts of the book occasionally; considering a lot of the what ifs. I realized recently that Amazon probably had a copy and I'd really like to own it and re-read it. And now I'll have my husband to read it too. I'm surprised no one has made a movie from it yet, but I'm glad they haven't. I doubt they would do it justice. I highly recommend this book (along with a long and distinguished list of others.)

Well that's just the beginning of an amazing journey we take, courtesy of a very talented Mr. Grimwood. An enormously enjoyable voyage into a fantasyland the reader does not want to leave!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: BUY THIS BOOK! Review: I am a huge fan of 'time-travel' books, and this one is one of my all-time favorites (second only to Jack Finney's "Time and Again"). Ken Grimwood has got a masterpiece here! I can't get enough of it. It is unique, riveting, suspenseful, sexy, well researched, well thought out, well written, and just pure plain and simple FUN!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A great read - a great one to lend Review: I first heard of this book from the morning radio show that I listen to. Based on their suggestion I ran out to buy it and have been a fan ever since. I've probably loaned this book to no less than 7 friends and never get it back (keep having to go out and buy a new one for me). If that's not the best testiment, I don't know what it. I just lent it out again yesterday, and probably won't see it again. The "what if's" are amazing. How many times have you wondered what it would be like to Replay your own life? Would you do things differently? How so? This book is very well written and has touched me in many ways. I highly suggest it to anyone!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: What would YOU do if you relived YOUR life? Review: Replay is one of my favorites books of all time. I have at times wished that I could go back in my life knowing what I know now. Degree in Computer Science instead of Mechanical Engineering? Invest in Microsoft, short sell Pan Am? Ken Grimwood writes plausible scenarios if you COULD "know" the future because you were living it again. Could you improve your marriage or be a billionaire? But more importantly, would you be happy with knowing the future? The main character lives his life over and over as artist, financier, and others but also teaches us to love our life without knowing what is going to happen next. Its a really good book and surprised me with the depth of my emotions after I put it down (the same day I started it, no less). Give Replay a shot. You'll like it.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Wow! This one's a MUST for any thinking, feeling person! Review: So much has already been said here about this book that any further praise would start to sound cliche'! Suffice it to say that I read it in one (all-night) sitting, and my first thought upon finishing was, "I wish I could erase this from my head and enjoy it all over again for the first time!" Well, I've re-read it MANY time since, and invariably enjoy it as much as the first time. THANK YOU, Ken Grimwood!
