Summary: BEWARE OF THE DRAGON REBORN!
Review: This book gives you goosebumps,it will make you afraid of the dark, eventuely you will fall in love with the beautifull characters and you will have respect for Rhand Althor, the Dragon Reborn.(although he doesn't excist) You will hate the Dark One and the Black Ajah and everything that is involved with them. You will cherish this book and read it over and over again along with the rest of them. Robert Jordan is one of the best YOU WILL AGREE. READ IT! (It's worth it)

Summary: Fascinating
Review: The Dragon Reborn is as good book as any other in this wonderful set. I'd probably read it again immediately if there wasn't so many sequels to this book to take a look.

One of the best things in Dragon Reborn is Rand's still continuing insanity. Now that he`s out of his mind, you can never know what he's going to do next. Rand's insanity's only getting worse as the saga continues.

Believe it or not, here in cold Finland there are lots of people who read these books. I even know personally over half a dozen Jordan fans living here, so Wheel of Time really must be something special.

Do thee a favor and get this book, or start reading the WOT from the beginning.

Summary: READ IT! READ IT! READ IT!
Review: To all those other readers who don't like this series: YOU ARE MAD! I can't believe there's a person under the sun who can read these books an not enjoy them. I am totally, completely, utterly immersed in Jordan's universe, inescapably entangled in his multitude of plots and I think it's the best and most gripping series I have ever read. Be prepared to have your emotions handled superbly by Jordan - the characters become people in your life. Jordan has me by the throat - I will not be able to stop. I don't even like fantasy, but I love this! It is totally different from any other fantasy I have ever encountered. There is no way to describe this series in such a way that someone will understand how good it is. Just follow my advice - read it, read it, read it!!!!

Summary: Excellent!
Review: Excellent book. I couldn't put it down! I can't wait for book 9 to come out, even though I'm only on Book 4, The Shadow Rising. By the way, did you know that Robert Jordan is a pseudonym for James Oliver Rigney, Jr.?

Summary: For those who hate this series..
Review: This is one of the best series I have every read. I picked it up as a favor to a friend and have not been able to put it down. I wait anxiously for the next one to come out. If you don't like the first one, keep going. The series starts out slow but that is to get you familiar with the characters and the plot that takes off like a shot in later books. You need to be able to keep up with more than one plot line, and if you are unable to do that then you will find (as others have) that the book seems to be full of useless words. If you have the ability you will find that the series doesn't just have the primary plot where the good guy fights the bad guy and the story is over. If that is all you want then don't read this book. People whom you like will die, and the boundaries between good and evil are not so clear. It takes a strong mind and intelligence to be able to comprehend this!!! This is not for the faint of heart. The good guy does not always get the girl, and he does not always go riding off into the sunset. This is for mature readers These books are amazingly well written with strong plots and sub-plots. Be prepared to take a lot of time for them, you will read, and re-read them over and over.

Summary: don't you all get it
Review: i get so sick of reading these reviews that say these books are repeditive, boring, or a waste of words. these people just don't understand that there is a reason for everything jordan has written. the comprehension level of most of these readers seem to be quite low. maybe, if you don't understand the story, you should stop complaining about it and just stop reading it.

Summary: Truely Fasinating Book
Review: The Dragon Reborn is truely one of the more outstanding books in the series. If you pick this book first go back and read the previous 2. Rand decides to go after Callendor, "The Sword that is not a Sword", in order to fulfill the prophecies of the Dragon Reborn. For only the Dragon can yeild Callendor. In the last book Rand has filled part of the prophecies by being twice marked with the heron. I invite you to read on and discover if Rand is the Savoir meant to fight in the last battle and the man eveyone has been taught to fear for the last Three Thousand years. Some interesting developments arise to Mat, Perrin, Moraine, and the rest.

Summary: Wonderful continuation of The Wheel of Time
Review: The Dragon Reborn was an interesting step further into the Wheel of Time. Although some people felt like this installment did not live up to the previous two, I found that this novel was important, as well as exciting, because the shift of focus is taken off Rand for once, and you actually get to know characters like Perrin and Mat in more depth. I believe that Jordan took a great oppurtunity to expand on these supporting characters and in doing so, has me eagerly awaiting to read the fourth novel, not only to see what Rand will do, but everyone else as well. In my opinion I think that readers of the Wheel of Time need to lighten up on the criticsm of individual books. Since this is a long series, it means that Jordan has to take the time to describe, expand, and involve all principal characters in order to heighten your own concern for them when the climax occurs. The way I think about the Wheel of Time is not an collection of separate books, but rather one long novel that had to be spilt into individual volumes because of its size. In that way, lengthy descriptive parts might happen to occur in one book, and in another you may be in suspense the entire time. I think Jordan has done a fantastic job with The Dragon Reborn and the whole series in general. Many like to compare him to Tolkein, and others say he doesn't live up to Tolkein. I think Jordan should be appreciated for his own style. Jordan is creating his own world with his own ideas and he is doing a terrific job. I reccomend this book and the others highly.

Summary: The best in the series!
Review: I have to warn you, my friends who read this said it was one of the weakest in the series. But not me! Maybe they didn't like it because Rand, one of the main characters, was barely in it. However, I think that because of that, you get to see the other main characters and the supporting cast develop more, a plus. This book was great! Not only did it have one of the best and grandest endings in the series, it introduced such things as the World of Dreams and the strange race of people, the Aiel. The storyline was involving, moving and exciting. You got to know more about characters like Min and the Amyrlin Seat. Also, being the shortest book in the series, it was easier to get through slow spots. Don't read it if you haven't read book one and two, though. My only complaint is that you tire of such long descriptions of evryone and everything. Overall, this book rocked!
