Summary: Well, it was a good series
Review: The Wheel of Time has been one of the most entertaining and engaging fantasy series that I have ever read. Path of Daggers, however, falls short of the high standard Jordan set with the first few books of the series. It seems that Jordan is unable or unwilling to complete a storyline; he jumps from sequence to sequence without resolving anything. While each storyline continues to be interesting, the sheer number of loose threads left hanging by the last three books detract from the story in general. I will continue to read the series, because it has shown so much promise, but this book was a disappointment.

Summary: PLEASE GET ON WITH IT!
Review: Ok i thought this story was pretty good except nothing really major happened and what about Mat! in the last book ya end with Mat saying "Where's my bloody luck now?" CRASH! ROCKS AND JUNK FALL ON HIM! COME ON NOT ONE TIME WAS HE EVEN MENTIONED IN THIS BOOK! I hope that the next book to come out is going to be the last or at least a lot better than this one.

Summary: It Was Really Bad
Review: Okay, can we say "money making"? Because that's all RJ seems to be interested in. The series was pretty good until about the ummm, 5,000th page. The next, uhh, 2,000 pages were a little lacking in substance. Just end the d@mn thing! I think I'll just skim the rest of the books' endings in the store because they sure aren't worth my money.

Summary: The BEST!
Review: With a brisk pace and a stunning evocative power that ranks it up there alongside my personal list of favorites with 'The Triumph and the Glory' and 'Hearts in Atlantis', and the best SCiFI series ever, this exceptional novel fulfilled all of my expectations from beginning to end. It was one of the best books I've read in the last year, a book well worth your consideration.

Summary: I'm getting board!
Review: I've read all 8 books and I have to say "I'M GETTING BOARD! ". I wish RJ would hurry it up! I think he should finish up on the next book , so we all can find out what happends. Then he can start a new seires if he wants to. I think the begining of the seires was great, but I'm starting to think he's lost his talent. I have to amit though, that I am hooked. I just wish he would hurry it up.

Summary: Anyone else feel that something's missing?
Review: The first time I read PoD I was somewhat furious. I just read it for a second time a couple weeks ago (tried to let time heal the wounds and scars from the first reading). The second time around, the book wasn't as bad (maybe b/c of the lack of the anticipation, etc). This installment of the series is yet again another plot builder. Teasing you of things to come, introducing new situations etc. All I have to say is: Where's Mat! When is the "Blue Lady" coming back? Better yet when are Thom, Olver, and Mat gonna rescue her?

Summary: Waiting for #9
Review: To: Robert Jordan - When should we expect the next book to be published? Admittedly, I am willing to wait for a good product, but I would like to know...

Summary: Pretty good
Review: I really love this series. Not that anyone will ever know that 'cause no one who is sane will ever read review number whatever number this is. I think that some of the plotlines need to be tied off. That's just my opinion. Like several people have mentioned The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind; Riftwar, inbetween and Serpent war series by Ramond Feist and the Belgarid and Mallorean by David Eddings are all good series to read while waiting for the next WoT book. Thanks.

Summary: Please don't milk this series for money and ruin it any more
Review: I was truly disappointed with how incredibly boring and uninspiring this book was. This was the book I left next to the toilet in case of long sessions... I was very excited to get this book, yet it was so anti-climactic that I was disenchanted with the whole series. If the next book is this gruelling and pathetic, I will have to stop investing in Mr. Jordan's writing career. So sad to see such excellent talent wasted in what appears to be a book made to fill contractual obligations to publishers, not true inspiration.

Summary: Slow reading but I am sure something good is coming
Review: The Path of Daggars was very slow reading, good, but not enough to satisfy. It opens new doors, and brings forwards old conflicts to be resolved...such as the daughter of the Nine moons, who is she???? I know that Robert Jordan mustn't want to spiol something big that is going to happen to mat by giving extra info in the path of Daggars, so I won't complain about the absence of mat, what I want is for him to hurry, he attracted my intrest in his books, but all that does now is make me very impatient for the next. The Path of Daggars is being etched into my brain for how many times I have read it and re-read it so it would be fresh in my mind when the new book comes out please hurry.
