Summary: Absolutley the best novel ever written!!!!
Review: I first heard of Dune when I had images in my head from childhood from the 1984 movie. So 2 years ago I saw the movie, and imeddiatly read the book and the the other 5 sequels. Absolutely the best ever. The romance, the intrigue, the politics, the worms, and of course the mind expanding drug Melange.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: No doubt about it!
Review: One look at all these reviews will leave you with no doubt that this is one of the best science fiction stories ever told. But wait! The best is yet to come. There are five other books in the series. My advice, however, is to skip Dune Messiah and go right to Children of Dune. The second book isn't nearly as good as the first; the third is even better. Herbert's writing improved with age, and God Emperor of Dune, Heretics of Dune, and Chapterhouse: Dune will blow you away even if you just sort-of like the original Dune.

Summary: Incredable!
Review: Dune is the first science-fiction book which I had read. Till I read this masterpiece I thought science-fiction is just the battles of some star-ships. But it is much more than this. While I was reading I was imagening the atmosphere of Dune. Events and the philosophy comes together in this book. I read all the books of serial. I was excited with the Atreideses, I was living with the Fremen while I was reading. I learned lots of things from the serial. I reccommend everyone to read the other books of the serial too. A reader from Turkiye (Turkey-Ankara)

Summary: This was the most amazing book i've ever read
Review: This book was so impressive that i could not put it down for a full 38 hours, the story is unbelivablely crisp once you find the center of it all. The discription of the empire that controls the the universe is so detailed that you become part of the world. The best book i've ever read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of, if not, the best book ever written
Review: At first glance, I also thought Dune would be a very dull book, but after just a few pages, I was captivated. This book was recommended to me by a close friend. I am only 15 years old, yet I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Frank Herbert is one of the best writers ever. From the Castle on Caladan, to the sandriders of the desert, it was an amazing journey for Paul. It is amazing to read how such a frail child could grow to one day become the Muad'dib and rule over the sand of Dune. I am in the middle of Dune Messiah and I like it, but it doesn't come close to Dune.
