Summary: A personal note from the Author of Alien Rapture
Review: When I begin researching Alien Rapture - The Chosen I had only read one book on UFOs, and that book was Project Blue Book. So it was an amazing coincidence that Brad Steiger, the esteemed author of Project Blue Book, ultimately became my co-author.

I am not a conspiracy buff, nor am I a UFOlogist. In 1990 you could not have convinced me that some of our most advanced technology was derived from reverse engineering of alien technology and alien artifacts. Five of my close friends, some of whom had also worked very classified exotic black programs; one who had flown the SR-71 Blackbird spy plane and been Air Force Test Pilot; and another who had been a National Security investigator, shared information with me which had not previously been revealed. I interviewed a number of their closest and most trusted friends to gather even more startling information. These additional connected individuals trusted me not to reveal my sources because I had been vouched for by my contacts and friends.

The resulting work, Alien Rapture - The Chosen, offers an altogether new slant provided by insiders who would not have dared speak to the media or other writers in this field. Therefore, instead of rehashing the same information available in a pletoria of existing books, in Alien Rapture you will discover a myriad of never before released facts about top secret black technology; the government conspiracy to cover up alien contact and reverse engineering of alien technology; and documents never previously revealed to the public. The draft of Alien Rapture and the attached documents were copyrighted in 1994 in order to prove we had this information at that time. The details in the Roswell autopsy report were obtained before the, 'government made for disinformation,' autopsy film appeared.

Brad Steiger, a master writer, and I have woven this information into a story about normal individuals who begin a quest to discover the roots and means of this conspiracy in order to reveal this information to the public. The story stands on its own, and even those not interested in secret technology or classified government documents (attachments) should find Alien Rapture-The Chosen a fast-paced enjoyable read with a thought provoking and inspiring ending. Enjoy.

Summary: This Book Should Be A Movie!
Review: This one oughta be a movie, folks. Co-authored by Ed Fouche and Brad Steiger, they deserve to make a million bucks, if Hollywood is sharp enough to option the work. Written as a novel, Ed Fouche is able to take advantage of his 25+ years of experience, working at and within Area 51, the top secret Nevada test site run by the Government. Due to security clearances Ed felt it necessary to tell the story as a novel, and what a story it is! At least this way it gives the Government "plausible deniability", and Ed gets to live a little longer.

The hero is Joe Green, obviously an alter ego for Ed Fouche. The story develops that we are not alone, and Joe discovers that the Government is not telling us the truth about virtually everything, particularly the aliens among us. Read between the lines, MJ-12 is a sinister plot, leading to developmental sub-plots at Area 51, where the successor to the SR71, the SR75, is built. Hence the need for a 6 mile long runway, as the 75 degree sweepback on the aircraft's wings do not provide much lift at takeoff speeds.

The usual gunmen, professional killers, torturers and psycotics abound, as does a New Age preacher by the name of Page St. John. St. John gives a new, and entirely acceptable, meaning to " the Rapture ", which is plausible, possible and believable.

Aliens are there, the Jexovah, with their mother ships and their scoutcraft, here to help us. Unlike Hollywood, there are no bug-eyed monsters or giant lizards drooling from toothy jaws. There are some tough times coming, and the Jexovah are here to help us get ready and change in a positive fashion.

Without giving anything away, the superb technology shines through, for those who seek it. Read it as a thought-provoking piece of entertainment, based in fact, liberally splashed with the thoughts of those who work with and investigate alien technology. Worth every penny of the price, it will make you think, as well as entertain. One can only hope that there will be a follow on book, giving us more information on the TR-3B, the SR75 & 74, (all Project Aurora aircraft), anti-gravity units and the super-secret bases such as Papoose Lake. Not to mention MJ-12, the Jexovah, the Chosen One and last but not least, the Rapture. "Tain't what you think, folks!". On a scale of 1 to 10, a definite 8-9 in my opinion.

Summary: INTRIGUING PLOT & CHARACTERS, CHILLING REVELATIONS
Review: Edgar Fouche' and Brad Steiger have created a work designed to entertain the reader and simultaneously reveal information which has too long been hidden. Joe Green, the protagonist, undertakes a journey which leads him back to terrifying events of his childhood, through unexplainable events during his military career, and, ultimately, to a place of truth and understanding. Along the way he is forced to face his fears and discover that, in doing so, he overcomes them, unveiling a truth which leads him to understand his reason for existing. In my opinion, the author accomplishes the same goal by writing the book. I highly recommend this work to the discerning reader who desires more than a pretty read for his invested time. Edgar Fouche' and Brad Steiger have set out to reveal a truth which has too long remained hidden . . . it is time to accept the fact that we are not alone.

Summary: Worthwhile read, another piece of the puzzle
Review: Although some of this book is obviously fiction, there is some "between-the-lines" information which describes real ongoing black project developments. For those who are seeking the truth about these things, I feel that this book provides a valuable piece of the elusive puzzle. For those seeking a fun read, this book provides a fast-paced, well-crafted work of fiction with a positive uplifting ending. Even if you read this for the pure pleasure of science fiction, you will find it to be one of those rare works that are extermely hard to put down.

Summary: Well documented, thought provoking alien technology novel.
Review: This book endeavors to define the line between what the general public knows (what the Government tells us) and what some of the experts in alien technology have discovered. The writer clearly believes (and who could doubt) that there is more going on than "They" want us to know.

The information is displayed in novel form, but anyone that has studied in this field will instantly recognize the volumes of accurate and thinly disguised information it contains.

The story is told in a witty, intertaining, and down-to-earth style. It is an excellent first novel (even though it was co-written by an expert).

There is some good hard physics, biophysics, and technology to keep the story real. The characters have good depth; some you would like to know and some you will be glad you only meet in a book!

This is a thought provoking novel, whether or not you believe "they are out there" or not.

An excellent read!

Summary: The facts and technology in this book are new and amazing.
Review: It took five years of interviews and cross checking facts onthe governments hidden agenda dealing with UFO contacts and reverseengineering of alien technology to write Alien Rapture. Brad Steiger is a noted UFO expert and researcher. My bio is posted on the web and details the black and special programs I've worked. Although written as a fiction story about several people on a quest to uncover the 'truth' about the MJ-12 committee and the Top Secret government cover-up, the facts, technology, and secret government agenda are true. Judge for yourself, the new MJ-12 Charter and the Alien Autopsy Report were all obtained and copyrighted two years before the Alien Autopsy Film surfaced. Each of these documents are included as attachments to Alien Rapture - The Chosen. Many UFO books leave most questions unanswered and pose new questions. I assure you that after reading this book, you will have more facts and details about the cover-up and reverse engi! neering of Alien Technology than you could ever imagine. Remember Amazon.com was the first to post our book, and pass the link on to your friends. Sincerely, Edgar Fouche

Summary: A very good novel and a excellent info, Steiger's best.
Review: Brad Steiger is one of my favorite writers, and I have read many of his 160 published books, and enjoyed them all. In my opinion "Alien Rapture" is an excellent solid read, great plot, very interesting facts about black Top Secret technology and the Secret Government agency that pull the strings. It is also my opinion that this is one of his best works.

In "Alien Rapture," our anti-hero, Joe Green is an ex-special ops veteran who is starting to make some hard choices in his life, in order to explain and come to grips with chunks of missing time in his life. The ending packs a notable punch, causing this to be a successful novel and is currently being written into a screenplay for a potential movie. This is one of the few books I really want to see made into a movie.

Few as they may be, critics of this novel by and large have noted that the black technology noted in story must be fiction, therefore it weakens the factualness of the story. Nay I say, the co-author Ed Fouche, has been on the SF, Learning, Discovery channels, BBC channel 4 interviewed him in 'Out of the Blue.' The Germans made a two hour special about the sightings of the ultra Top Secret TR-3B Astra flying triangle with half of it covering information from Fouche and his commentaries and many more. Search "Black Triangle" or "Flying Triangle" or "Edgar Fouche" on the net. Fouche's background has been verified over and over and unlike others, he's proven with his military records that he held Top Secret clearances and worked at Area 51.

These same uninformed critics have suggested that the 'new' information in 'Alien Rapture' is a 'rehash' of old information. Again, do the research yourself. Two of the Majestic 12 - classified documents in the story were first released by Fouche and Steiger..., long before the so-called 'Alien Autopsy' film, or the books by 'USAF Colonel Corso or NASA's Dr. Paul Hill.

In the last ten years, ONLY four books-novels and their authors have stood the test of time with their shocking new information on the UFO cover-up. Jim Marrs' "Alien Agenda," Dr. Paul Hill's "Unconventional Flying Objects," USAF Colonel Corso's "The Day After Roswell," and Fouche-Steiger's "Alien Rapture." All Highly recommended.

Summary: I enjoyed this book and really recommend it!
Review: This was a great book and it was so suspenseful that I could not stop reading it until I got to the end. The ending was so unpredictable. This is my Steiger novel and. This novel has a unique characteristic; it could very well be real. The author has a way of making the human characters very real and likeable, and the action very believable, even though it is science fiction/faction. I really got into the story.

Funny how I read all the reviews and there were almost a hundred in October, not half that many now and suddenly a bunch of new negative reviews. I wonder what's going on with that. Couldn't find out anything negative about the expert co-author, Mr. Fouche, on the Internet. They've even made a couple of UFO Documentaries in Germany and France about his MUFON lecture. Also found out that the BBC did a special on the "Flying Triangle" or `TR-3B' and Mr. Fouche. BBC Channel Four in England said that, Producer John Purdy of Channel Four, reviewed over 200 documents, some classified, verifying that Mr. Fouche did indeed have the training, assignments, clearances and credentials that he said he had. In fact, they said he had more documentation than all the other UFO "Insiders," combined.

My dad likes to buy me any book I want every month even though I'm in college. I had this on my list since last summer. When I listened to co-author Fouche, on the discovery Channel, I was convinced he knew what the heck he was talking about. As you are reading you are thinking, 'This could be real'. That's what helps you really get into the story.

I totally recommend this book and you will really enjoy it. I really don't think the government wants you to read this.

Summary: Bad Writing Sometimes Obstructs the Story
Review: The overt lectures and recounts from characters, especially General Treat, Eli.. the poor editing, horrendous spelling, bad writing ("off of, that that, that the.." among 100s of others) gets in the way, for me. Also, the story is really not that earth-shattering (no pun intended) or original. The characters recount things too much for the readers' view, and therefore simply sound insincere ("Remember when we covered up... blah blah blah") . The colonel having two different names within two chapters also bothered me. If the writers, regardless of their backgrounds, concocted a "fictional" story, and such a badly written one at that.. it makes me question the work's authenticity. I have read this story several times, from other recounts and authors. I am unsure if the authors' premise is true.. but it's certainly become unoriginal by now. This book, with better writing, would in fact make a great movie. I do not know how much of the book is embellished, or mere truth.. a major distraction for me. There are other oddities, like in one chapter the character is driving a Land Rover, and the next a Trailblazer (or vice versa).. very distracting.

What is true within the book?

What's not?

What's embellished simply to get the reader's interest?

The writers can embellish anything they want, make anything up, because this book is "fiction..." It's therefore not a "research book" as some herein believe. Carlton Farr opened up too easily to Joe, besides the point. The MJ-12 personnel pontificate excessively for being so secretive within the book. The work is still entertaining and worth reading, but only buy this book used, or check it out from the library. I will be selling my copy used, that's for certain (it's not worth keeping). I got far more out of CDB Bryan's MIT Conference book, for example. I do not understand why the authors didn't hire editors (assume they did not), proofreaders, and didn't just write the book as truth, instead of a "Hollywood story." The "Hollywood" factor detracts from the book and just further denegerates the entire genre.. into something not to be taken too seriously. It's a shame.. my expectations were as rave as most of the reviews for this book. The reviews raving are unwarranted, sorry. It's only my opinion, and it's free. Oh yes, I am not part of the Majestic 12, 13, or an ex-Area 51 employee. Another comical thing I thought about: if this book is so astonishing, remarkable, and damning.. how was it ever published in the mainstream press? Or any others, for example, from Budd Hopkins, etc, etc, etc.. I want to take these things seriously, but the more I read, the more I do not. One of the authors apparently still works for the DOD (or did at the time of publishing).. it amazes me that this book would have been published if true.
