Summary: A LOT OF THOUGHT PROVOKING FACTS and a little fiction.
Review: A Mother-Ship sized triangular saucer of food for thought for the Deep thinkers to reflect on the complexities of our present day society and how they relate to things that defy understanding. The suspense will make you want to fly to the next page - and the next - for the resolution of yet another dilemma, but Don't! or you will surely miss something you will have to go back for.

Some of those dilemmas are to me, reminiscent of something James Bond might get himself entangled in, although of course, James probably would not let the author get by with giving any excruciating torture scene to another character, and he most certainly would not have let anyone but himself have the woman of the 90's as his love interest. Joseph Green (the central character) however, has plenty of spine chilling episodes to deal with and is not so greedy.

"Alien Rapture" explores the depths of the souls of men and their struggles with what constitutes patriotism; what drives them in their quests for truth, fairness, freedom, control, and love for their fellow man; and what the few will do in the name of it. This includes a lesson on the mind set of society and how it can be manipulated by the propaganda of the secret MJ-12 organization. This book is not for the fainthearted, weak kneed, or close minded.

Perhaps the alien agenda is also putting out propaganda in the form of screen memories of a religious nature, but while this story certainly does not show that nor spend the readers time with preachments, it does reflect, however briefly and profoundly, on a societal view of it. The story presents an unconventional twist on the view of Armageddon and its location.

In "Alien Rapture", Joseph Green, like Roy Neary in "Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind, has seen and experienced strange things he cannot comprehend and is later consumed with finding the foreboding truth behind them at all cost. Joseph's *mountain* of information however, is not found in his livingroom, shaving cream, or mashed potatoes, but rather in a childhood memory and later in a covert job situation.

The knowledge author Edgar Fouche shares with us of the way the military and covert organizations work and the secrets it compartmentalizes, sets up the scenes and ties it all together to give an overview, much of which will strike informed readers as highly likely to have actually occurred. This is the closest you are likely to get to area 51, unless you happen to work in that allegedly non-existent patch of terra firma.

If you want a fast paced challenge to your emotions this book will do it. You can feel the very deepest chasms of hate for the devil Agabarr; the darkness of risks, fears, and extremely dangerous situations; the pride and exaltation of accomplishments; the exasperating, all encompassing drive to find the truth; and the love for those who fight on your side. This is a powerful story of individuals who find themselves caught in the horrendous web of covert military operations.

Co-authors Edgar Fouche and Brad Steiger have produced a thought-provoking and highly readable work of science-faction. A must read!

Summary: Very interesting subject matter, poorly presented
Review: The only reason I give this book 2 stars is that I feel the authors did a great job of disclosing very interesting theories (or facts?) about the UFO 'conspiracy'. The story and characters are very very poorly written however. In fact, the quality of the book (separated from the subject matter) is SURPRISINGLY BAD. I would recommend this book to people who are sincerely interested in UFO conspiracy theories. To anyone else, I would say STAY AWAY.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best book out there on the UFO conspiracy!
Review: I read this book because of the reviews I read here. I definitely was not disappointed! I was totally involved in the story as it was full of so much historical fact, the fiction was made that much more exciting. Great characters! You know that Steiger knows his stuff and Fouche definitely knows how to write a page-turner. Recommend this to all X-philes and anyone who wants to get a good perspective of a possible truth. At the worst, it's great modern mythology.

Summary: The MOST EXCITING novel I've read in a long time.
Review: I found this book quite by accident. It was a lost copy, so I am always curious what other people read. This category has never much interested me until now. I have read a couple of works by the co-author Brad Steiger which I'm very fond of. My wife is actually the Steiger fan. So when I noticed his name on it, I was even more curious. I read the first few pages and then I was hooked. REALLY HOOKED! Then before I knew it, I was totally absorbed into Alien Rapture. Not only are the characters ALL TOO REAL, so is the twisted government machinations and evil intentions. If you liked the 'Enemy of the State' film, then you should read this book. I've since passed this exciting novel on to my wife who hasn't spoken to me much today as she gets deeper and deeper into the story. I wouldn't have thought any author(s) could have put so much background, government secrets, and disinformation into a fast paced fiction plot without bogging down the pace, but the tension builds with every page and the characters leap of the page and take on a life of their own. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this novel to everyone.

Summary: A peak at the past ... a view of the future?
Review: I picked up this book because as a child I lived in many of the places Fouche and Steiger write about. Both my parents were in the military and I grew up hearing these kind of stories told around the dinner table. I was engrossed from the end of the first chapter to the end of the book. I highly recommend it to those who inspire to know more about UFO's and our military involvement with them. Needless to say, you know what I will be giving my parents for Christmas this year! Enjoy ... and pass it along ... it is the only way we will ever discover the truth!

Summary: Merits ten stars.
Review: I received a copy of Alien Rapture-The Chosen as a gift from a relative who insisted that I read it immediately. My interest in UFOlogy is long standing, and I have been an avid reader since my childhood, so it takes something spectacular to impress me. I was impressed with this book. Not only did the information contained therein confirm some of the information I have uncovered from my own research, it expanded it. I was aware that research had been done on antigravity for years. The craft revealed in this work and the authors' explanation of the gravity warping propulsion system were revolutionary. In addition, the story was fast-paced and the characters fascinating. The antagonist, Agabarr, depicts an evil inherent in our civilation and in those who seek their own gain at any cost to others. Joe Green personifies the opposite end of that spectrum. I recommend this book for the thinking person who is more interested in reading for information than in wiling away a few hours, but who still wants a great plot and characters he/she can become engrossed in. I gave it a five star rating. It merits ten.

Summary: disappointed after 5-star ratings
Review: This is the first time I have written a review. I feel compelled to in this case. After reading all the positive reviews, I was anxious to try a new author. I read all genres of books -- non-fiction, sci-fi/fantasy, murder, political intrigue, pulp and yes, even a few romance novels (I call them 'mind candy' -- not good for you, but sometimes, you just can't resist).

I mention the latter specifically because after a few pages in, I was surprised and shocked to find that any average romance novel has better dialogue and plot development (never mind the subject matter) than this book.

Despite the disclaimer of having to write a 'science-faction' novel to 'protect' certain people, this would have been a better book if it was written in a non-fiction style. As it is, the dialogue seems to be a weak attempt to try to fit disparate pieces of information and alien abduction stories together into a not-even-close-to-seamless whole.

After breezing through the rest of the book and finding it no different, including the similar-to-Close-Encounters finale, I left this one on the plane for someone else to find.

Summary: I read this outstanding novel and bought 3 more for friends.
Review: This is the most exciting book I've read in years. I stumbled across Alien Rapture-The Chosen, while looking for books on aliens on the Amazon web site. I bought it because I had read two other books by Brad Steiger, and I liked them both. What a story! I read the book in two sittings, staying up almost night to finish it. I think Edgar Fouche' knows exactly what he is talking about, even though I realize that parts of the book--the end for example--are fiction. However, I think it could possibly happen just like the author said it did. I have wondered about the alien involvement on our earth for a long time, and I think everyone should read this book. Something is going on, it seems as if the government is trying to hide it, and I think the people have a right to know. Thanks to Edgar Fouche' and Brad Steiger for writing Alien Rapture. I highly recommend it.

Summary: Would you believe six stars!
Review: Okay, I admit I was a skeptic when I bought this book. My God, what a story. You can't read it and not believe that the author's have inside information. Having a Ph.D. in Physics, and being a DoD contractor, I had heard rumors of some of this technology. But, to have it laid out in such a detailed manner; i.e., the players, the politicians, the documents, the accuracy, is extraordinary. What's even more amazing, was that they were able to weave the entire information into a superb fiction story. You will identify with Joe Green, the protagonist and loathe and fear characters like the NSA assassin (Crawfoot) and the torturer (Agabarr). The plot is substantial and moves quickly as you want to read the next page before you've finished the one you're on. Even the flying triangle that's been spotted from Phoenix to London is explained. I agree with one of the reviewers who mentioned a movie. Imagine Close Encounters, Sphere, Independence Day, and the X-Files movies into one movie and you still couldn't imagine how good this is.

Summary: Description
Review: On the one hand: actual cases of alien abduction, genetic manipulation, missing time, implanted memories - and terrifying visions. On the other: a secret government with unlimited power, covert technology, clandestine documents protected at any cost - and a complete disregard for United States laws and constitutional rights. Which is the more terrifying? After you read this book you will be better able to answer the question. Brad Steiger, one of the leading experts in UFOlogy and paranormal research, has teamed with Edgar Rothschild Fouche, a former member of black technological programs and a defense contractor with contacts on many of the government's most classified programs. Fouche has gathered proof of the top secret cover-up, thus presenting the smoking gun that will astound anyone seeking the truth.
