Summary: I guess I was looking for something else.
Review: Having seen the TR3b in person I believe most of what was said up to that point. The alien stuff I found a few problems with. Homo Erectus came from Cro-Magnon not Neanderthal. If aliens really wanted to spread the truth they could land in my front yard. And the characters drank too much.

Summary: What a book, awaiting the movie!
Review: "Alien Rapture, The Chosen," by Edgar Fouche, is the best book yet about aliens, UFO's, and government cover-ups! I could not put this book down. I would submit that Edgar Fouche has answered, if not brought closure, to the most anticipated questions of our time by adroitly weaving fictional characters around the most closely guarded, classified secrets ever! This book far surpasses the myriad others that try to claim factual revelations regarding exobiology. I had the distinct privilege to work for Edgar Fouche. Ed was the Senior Project Manager for a critical USAF undertaking. I've never met a person so well connected in the inner circles of the defense/aerospace arena as Mr. Fouche. Edgar Fouche has an insider's perspective that only a handful of people have, and I know he's probably on the fringe of compromising his oaths of secrecy, jeopardizing very high-level clearances granted by multiple agencies. For this reason I wish him and his loved ones a long, healthy, prosperous, and safe life!

Summary: NOTHING NEW HERE
Review: When the real evidence finally comes out, if it ever does, I suspect it will not be in the form of witness testimony. The public needs physical evidence, which this book provides none. In addition, the story barely kept me interested in turning to the next page. Sorry, didn't like it.

Summary: A disappointment from Brad Steiger
Review: I consider myself fairly well informed on the subject of UFOs in general. I have always respected Brad Steiger as one of the few writers on the the topic of the paranormal without a preformed opinion. A talented writer who was bright enough to sift through the available facts and make his own determination-- regardless of his personal biases or pressure from the "paranormal community".

After reading this book of "faction", given its frequent spelling and grammer mistakes-- not to mention a weak plot that seemed designed only to provide soapboxes for various characters-- I find it very hard to believe that Mr. Steiger had much to do with the writing of this novel. I have read numerous other works by the man, and regardless of what you think about his opinions, I think few would argue that he is a fine writer.

I suspect that Mr. Steiger lent his name to this project because he saw it as a tool to make information available that otherwise might not reach much of an audience. This may well be true, but the writing and plot are so amateurish that few people other than ardent UFO buffs are going to be able to slog through to the finish.

Summary: Was not what I expected.
Review: I thought the book was well written but rather unimaginative and lets face it, not very believable. The story was okay but nothing special. If you are looking for a good book in this field that is more recent of a release (1999), read GARY SACCO's, "THE SWITCHED" (Galaxy Books). It changed my perspective on life itself - a real provocative and insightful book.

Summary: Too many descriptions.
Review: If you read to enlarge your knowledge of E.T. and the secret government, you will find 10 pages that bring information you may not already know, and one that may have some relevance with your quest. Having read over 100 books on the subject, I have learned that it is often the price you pay. The book is on 3 levels. One is to provide secret information on the malfeasance of the s.g. but is off-the-wall and not credible. Another is a theory on the origin and purpose of our space visitors. The last is to busy the reader with endless and boring descriptions. Having work for the s.g. one may wonder if the author still does its bidding, looking for a way to plead: we do terrible things but we have to, to preserve mankind. Don't be nosey, these terrible things could happen to you. Author cannot decide if Forrestal (ex-secretary of defense) was thrown out of a 16th floor window by the s.g. because he was about to talk. Or if he committed suicide after having gone mad under the influence of the ETs. This scares the nosey reader with two threats, instead of one. His theory on the origin and purpose of the E.T. is not consistant. He described them as grays, less than 4 feet high and associate them to the biblical Nefilin. The problem is that Nefilin translates into "giants coming from the sky". In Genesis, Cain goes to the land of Nod to take a wife and later on goes to the land of the Giants. The grays live indefinitely when traveling the cosmos but not at their home base Andromeda. Probably because of Einstein's theory of relativity. Why would they want to take over the earth beats me, unless our planet has some magical property. The story is written as a detective novel with lots of little suspenses that build to nothing, and a climax that lets you down. Some "insider" info is provided on the s.g. organization, but few cannot be found in better written books intended to inform instead of filling pages describing people or places I never cared for. This was not the reason why I bought the book. Copy on the document creating MJ12 can be found in Good and Clark books. Quote: "two flashy ladies, attractive enough to be showgirls or high priced hookers, sat in a booth near the back dance floor". How does that relate even remotely with a rapture? and this goes on for about 250 pages out of 263. There are some good insight on the primitive mentality and egotistic motive of the morons that run our secret government but a book presenting a plausible theory on the mission of the extraterrestrial and how the s.g. handles the most important inquiry of our time will have to wait. I could not decide if the author is on their side (the s.g.) or on my side, a quest for the truth. The title is purely commercial, the rapture is incidental. Lots of words, little substance, half-baked theories except for one or two gems. All characters talk the same jargon with lots of profanities: f..., a.s, sh.t.

Summary: Brilliant!
Review: Brilliant! This book is fantastic! Everybody, I mean everybody should read this one. Many people are still skeptical about the events of Roswell, ancient astronauts, reverse engineering of alien technology, and CIA/FBI/NSA documents (MJ-12) revealing the cover-up, but when you read Alien Rapture, you will understand exactly what's going on. Written as fiction to protect the sources, the best selling author, Brad Steiger, of Project Blue Book and Rainbow Conspiracy weighs in with some (40 years as a journalist and 100 published books) considerable experience and knowledge. Additionally, his discovery Edgar Fouche, ex-black projects 'insider' and technology guru 'TELLS ALL.' Filmed, interviewed, and written about by almost a hundred radio, magazine, and TV documentaries, Fouche has never been proven wrong about any of his facts. Just as he was the first to reveal the truth about the "Flying Triangle (USAF TR-3B), the Roswell 'Autopsy Report' and the Majestic Twelve Charter which controls all aspects of the 'Alien Artifacts,' just to name a few, this information permeates this extraordinary plot with 'real' life characters. Better than Indiana Jones and Close Encounters and X-Files movies put together. I have rarely enjoyed a novel more, especially with the inspiring ending.

Summary: One the best books that I have ever read!
Review: I have always been interested in UFO's, but I have never read a book on them. After receiving Alien Rapture as a gift, I will continue to read about UFO's. Alien Rapture gives you insight on things that the Government has been hiding from the public for years. This is definitely a must read book.

Summary: I had never picked up such a book in my life;and now...
Review: after reading this I spend half my prolific reading time researching further into the facts. A thrilling book well worthy of a movie! .....Fouche has made an altogether impressive debut that can only leave the reader wondering how he will follow it in his follow up ....An easy entrance for any reader into this questionable market; a story tone that never tries to over sensationalise a sensational story....

Summary: Good Information, TERRIBLE writing!
Review: While the disclosures in this book are as intriguing as advertised, the story and writing, from top to bottom are just AWFUL. The story structure is a mess, and has many inconsistencies and holes. The characters are less than one-dimensional -- they are .00000001 dimensional -- cardboard cutouts microns thin. The villains are straight out of central bad-guy casting; I almost expected Agabar to twist his moustache a la Snidely Whiplash! To make things worse, the prose is awkward and clunky, often simply painful to read. Fouche and Steiger really needed a ghost writer to actually turn their ideas into something readable!

That said, I liked the information they disseminated through this awful writing. Like so much in this field, it may or may not be true. If what Fouche and Steiger present is true, the revelations have shattering implications for our future. Even if Fouche's "facts" are not based on hard evidence (i.e. if he made it all up from secondary sources, hearsay, and the existing UFO mythology) at least it is an intersting "take," and presented a world-view that held together and held interst. It's a pity it is so poorly presented
