Summary: Almost.....
Review: Almost as good as the first book (Fall of Reach). I found it interesting because you could very easily visualize everything you were reading after having played the game(twice!!). That is one thing to keep in mind though. It is just the game in book form so if you didn't like the game then you will probably not like the book either. If you're a fan of the game though it's a definite read!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: best war book ever
Review: this book has some of the best battles yet, in the halo series. the master chief is wiser and more cunning. this book basically follows the game and it fills in between the levels also. the aliens in this book are more viewed in depth and a new species is shown.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: a good walkthrough for a game but a horrible novel
Review: i was alawys the type who loved stories with humans and aliens fighting over supremacy, so i was testing this book out. I can only say that if you need a walkthrough solution for the game Halo it is right there, but for a real SF novel it is lesser than its ink and paper worth which is written of it.
especially in parts where the Master Chief is fighting his way through hundreds and thousands of flood and Covenant warriors is so stereotypicall for a walkthrough nothing enjoyable to read just stupid as novel but right for a game walkthrough.

Summary: Good read
Review: Granted, for those of us who have played the game over and over, there's not really anything new in here, like in the other book about Reach. But it's still an enjoyable read. Being able to so easily visualize all the various parts in the story makes it a fun book.

Summary: Halo: The Flood
Review: This book was ok but it was not as good "The Fall of Reach". I have beat the X-box game Halo and I was hoping for some different information outside of the game. The book basically followed a liner path and if you played the game, wasn't very interesting. No new technologies or weapons were explained or introduced. I was hoping for some new insights on the Covenant or the Flood that the game didn't already explain but there was nothing. In the end of the book Spartan 117 is floating in space just as the game ended. I was hoping the auther would have set something up for the next game or story. If you like sci-fi space-marine action as I do and you havent played Halo on X-Box you should enjoy this book.

Summary: It's Deja Vu Almost....
Review: Halo The Flood is worth reading, but not what I expected. Halo The Flood is a novel version of the original Halo video game. The exact story and events that happen in the Xbox video game happen in this book. It was a very quick read. If a friend has a copy of this book you should definitely borrow it, but don't buy it ( unless you wont too DUHH! )

Overall: Great, no, good, if you like the story of the game, then yeah. Worth reading, Yeah. Is 'Fall of Reach' better, oh yeah. Enjoy this book, but read 'Fall of Reach' first.

Summary: Halo: The Flood
Review: I think this book cool and better than The Fall Of Reach because it tells what the Covenant does and what the Marines and Helljumpers do. But it doesn't tell what the Flood doing or thinking. I think this is the best book I ever read.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Halo: The Flood
Review: This book deserves as much as it does. The game followed the storyline of only the Master Chief, when this followed all the stories. 'Zamamee, Yapyap, and McKay. This book is very interesting, and gets insane at the end. The auther did skip a lot of detail though - but it would just be the same thing over and over again if the author didn't. Why would you want to hear 'He grabbed a flood and popped it' twenty times in a row?

Summary: Good but slow
Review: The first Book is better then the second book becuse the second book is slower and William C. Dietz could of don better on it. I think this Book would of ben the best if Eric Nelond Did it.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Good but not great
Review: Great book for fans of sci-fi or Halo but not for anyone else. The book gets repetitve and can and does become annoying, when all else fails try puting on your favorite techno music to fully enjoy this book I would recomend buying if you've read the first book.
