Rating: Summary: Magick and Aleister Crowley - the force behind "Door" Review: When I was much younger and still thought I could change the world with the right incantation, I fell under Crowley's spell. I tried to decipher the Thoth Tarot, unravel the sacred mysteries, and conjure up my own guardian spirit. I was never much of an adept, but when I had a chance to write Crowley into a novel, I jumped at it. The empathy I have for all my historical characters probably softened his rough edges a bit...but it's difficult not to like a man who hated hypocrasy as much as I do.
