Summary: This book really stays with you long after you've read it!
Review: I found the storyline incredibly fascinating and fresh. Time travel has of course been written about but not in this manner. You really felt like you have become one the characters. The concept of a door in Grandmum's house, made during the 1920's is great. It makes you realize that people in the first part of this century were just as naughty as today! This book has little bit of everything in it - magick, romance, intrigue and suspense. I loved it! The book has also opened a real door through time, for now I want to read Aleister Crowley's books as well! Wonderful book, please write many more!

Summary: Amazing story
Review: I wasn't sure how I would feel about this book since I always see Elaine Bergstrom as a horror/vampire writer, but I should have known anything with her name attached to it would be wonderful. It was amazing how quickly the story drew me in and I couldn't put the book down. The authors research is wonderful and the story with keep your attention. For anyone who hasn't read Bergstrom's vampire stories because it's just not their cup of tea, this book may make you change your mind.

Review: I've always been fascinated by time-travelling and I guess that's why I bought this book to begin with. And I was not disappointed!! This is a great story with lots of magic and mystery spiced with love to make it just perfect. If you still haven't read it....start now!!!!

Summary: Save your money
Review: Silly plot, cheesily written, with proofreading errors galore! The noncontemporary characters were strong but so what?

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Boring
Review: The book starts off interesting but gets boring quick. I stopped after a few chapters.

Summary: JUST OK
Review: The time travel aspects of the book enticed me to buy it but I was disappointed. I found myself skipping pages to get to the end. The characters were decidedly unlikable and unsympathetic. The plot was thin and you never really discovered what was going on and why.

Summary: couldn't put it down!
Review: This book is unlike any other book I have ever read! It tells the story of a woman, who inherits her great grandmother's appartment, and finds out there is a door in there which leads 72 years into the past. Contrary to other time travel books, the travel itself isn't what the book focuses on - the "technical" aspects of time travel. Neither does it focus on historial facts (like other time travel books). Instead, it focuses on some historical figures, such as the famous Aleister Crowley, and on magick ("real" magic). Overall, this is a fantasy novel, with a lot of romance in it, but written in a very unique manner. I simply could not put it down! I recommend it to anyone who has an interest (or at least, isn't upset) by reading about magical rituals, likes time travel books - and has a romantic heart ;-)

Summary: A real "fun read" for anyone interested in the magickal arts
Review: This book provides a fictitious account of one brief period in the life of the notorious Aleister Crowley. His followers loved him, others despised him and many feared him and his strange magickal rituals. What possible effect could a ritual performed many, many years ago by Aleister Crowley and Dierdre MacCallum's grandmother, Bridget, have on the present day?

Dierdre learns the truth from her dying grandmother and must try to set things right and thus preserve her family history and save her true love.

An interesting cast of characters.

I think anyone with an interest in the occult will find this novel very hard to put down until you have finished it.

Summary: Cool Story
Review: Very Cool Story. Lots of fun , I think anyone who likes time travel story's will be happy with this book. It isn't exact about the time line of one of the char's , but it is very well told (i'm not to big on Mr. Crowley history anyway). Expext a good story and alot of thinking (about what you would do)when you get this one , I expect a movie from it..
