Summary: It was very creative and well thought of
Review: K.W. Jeter is what I believe very creative in writing this book. The book goes back and forth through time and tells how Boba Fett out smarts everyone who comes in his path. It also has another bounty hunter, Bossk, and they, over the years , become rivals. Boba Fett cleverly escapes death many times in this book and from many different people.

Summary: OK but lacked the Star Wars edge
Review: I read both this and Slave ship, and I was severly disipointed. Jeter had a good idea but he ruined it by getting the plot a little too twisted. The Zuckuss and Bosck pairing really didn't belong at all. When compared to Tales Of The Bounty Hunters this book and its siqual sucked. Jeter should have stuck to writing Blade Runner and stayed away from Star Wars, because those long boing conversations that have little beariing on the plot don't Belong. All I can say is that I wish I hadn't bought this book because now I feel that I have to find out how the trilligy ends. P.S. Denger is not the bumbling fool he was made out to be

Summary: Want To Know More About Star Wars?
Review: Have you wondered about all the othere suff that doesn't happen in the movies? Then read this book. It tels about a whole bunch of other stuff, like about Black Sun. Bet ya don't know what that is! This book offers many new characters and fits perfectly within Lucas' vision of Star Wars.

Summary: It was decent but lacked real "futuristic" action
Review: It was decent but lacked real "futuristic" action. It was not very detaled but an interesting read. P.S. This is not from a Star Wars Hater's" point of view!

Summary: Cool, but it could have been better
Review: This book is really cool! I couldn't put it down! The only reason that I only gave it 4 stars is because sometimes the "Then" parts aren't very interesting but this book is great and I encourage all Star Wars fans to read it (also I have read some of Slave Ship and it is really cool so far!)

Summary: AUTHOR SCREWS UP STAR WARS STORYLINE; FILM AT 11
Review: To be really honest to you all, I thumbed through this book at the local Waldenbooks, thinking this could be interesting. But guess what? In five minutes I came to the conclusion that the author has absolutely no clue as to what his subject matter is about. I think his concept of "Now and Thens" was used to throw the reader off so he could make his characters and character pairings seem logical in the Star Wars timeline, guess what? It didn't do anything but make an already screwed up story into a total farce. Hey! Jeter, 4-LOM and Zuckuss...not Bossk and Zuckuss, do some research...you only had to read one book...thats all you had to do...one book. You took all the stories that were written (and were all very good I might add) in "Tales of the Bounty Hunters", and destroyed all the authors complex characters and fascinating storylines and made most of the bounty hunters into steriotypical thugs and lame brains you might see in a bad Saturday morning cartoon, all except for Boba Fett, that guy was a wild and crazy "barve". That dudes a "barve" man, dont mess with that smelly "barve", you "barve"....what the hell is a "barve"? Do you even know? I know...i'll invent a word for "bad author", and it will be "jeterian". Here's a sentence using my newfound word! Don't read those books, I hear they're written by a "jeterian". By the gods!....this book must've been written by a "jeterian", i've never seen such crap in my whole life! That "jeterian" wrote a really screwed story about a "barve" when he should have been writing about Boba Fett! I pray to God that George Lucas hasn't seen or never does see your work...if he did he'd be extremely p***ed, and if he already has, you're probably the real reason he won't make any more movies after the next 3 prequels, and not his age. If i could....I'd give this book a "black hole".

Summary: Very well-written tale of the most notorious Bounty Hunters.
Review: Very Good Book :o

Summary: An amzing "background check"--a must for fans of Boba Fett!
Review: Boba Fett is found by Dengar after he is thrown up by the Sarlacc. Dengar knows this is his one chance to kill his greatest enemy, but instead decides to save this foe. In several chapters, you get a look back at events around the period of Shadows of the Empire-and Boba's goal is to rip the bounty hunter's guild apart! However, Bossk is out to stop him, and Boba Fett will face his greatest challenge ever!

Summary: If you like the Bounty Hunters, you'll love this.
Review: This book is the best. It's got a lot of action and my favorite character of the Star War's books and movies, "Boba Fett". Tjis is one of the best well thought books that gives a history to everything so your not confused. YOU SHOULD GET IT.

Summary: Could have been much better
Review: I agree with what most people have to say on this book. The author should have done a lot more research. His character's are way off, especially Boba Fett and Zuckuss. A lot of this story is somewhat dull and the part of the story in the past is completely pointless - it has no relevence anywhere else and doesn't lead anywhere. The ending was a little abrupt. Jeter also seems to insist on writing long conversations which are boring to read (like other readers have written - the scene with Vader, Xixor and Palpatine was FAR too long and could have been written on a page). I also hate the fact that Xixor is in this novel at all - he's a total barve(!) and I wish people would forget about him. Basically, this book is somewhat pointless and little too long. It has it's good points: Boba Fett is in it and it has the potential to become a good trilogy. But there wasn't enough action going on and the character descriptions are totally off the mark. This is a shame - this book could have and should have been the excellent Boba Fett story the fans are STILL waiting for.
