Summary: loved it
Review: gose with the game and yet not exactly so you can play and read with out getting board of either and also expands the world of midkima

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not Feist's best
Review: Although I enjoy the increased focus on 2 of my favorite characters, James and Arutha, it is hard to determine what Feist is hoping to accomplish by writing these novels. Both Krondor novels fail to provide any viable bridge between the Rift war and the Serpent War. They neither introduce intermediary characters such as "Prince of the Blood" and "Kings Buccaneer" had nor do they provide any new insights into James and Arutha's relationship. They are best friends, we don't need two half baked novels to tell us that over and over again.

Summary: Awful
Review: Why in God's name would you rewrite people who already died in the original series? Just because someone made a popular game doesn't mean you should sell out even more. I have read everything the man has published up until now, including Fairie Tale. Disappointment doesn't even come close.

Summary: Krondor lite, but still entertaining
Review: While this book can't stand with Magician/Silverthorn/A Darkness at Sethanon on the level of true classic, it's still a satisfying read. Primarily, the book follows the career of Jimmy the Hand in his new role as Squire James as he's challenged to clean out a nest of assassins. Well-written and fast paced.

Summary: Feist for the senses
Review: Once again we return to the land of Midkemia. Going there is always like visiting some old friends. It's always fun to see Jimmy the Hand up to his old tricks (and maybe a few new ones). I've read most of Feist's books, and this is so far one of the best.

Summary: Understanding the steps
Review: my point of this is that, i never really read a book before in my spare time, but these books have been fantastic, you can get involved with the characters, feel the joys they go through and also there sorrows, Good book exellent reading i thought, cannot wait until his next book comes out. Makes the mind really use your imagination. Just wish that I could get my hands on dragon, by Feist.

Summary: Well it was promising
Review: I've got to say that after reading the Magician series from Raymond E Feist, I was eagerly awaiting the next series of books. The first of the Riftwar Legacy books was absolutly amazing, but the plot in this book was very weak, and the author tended to jump around a lot, rather than focusing properly on the plot. It's worth reading, but nothing along the lines of Magician, Silverthorn and A Darkness at Sethanon.

Summary: Old Friends
Review: While not as deep as the saga from which this is taken, it is a nice chance to visit with old friends and remember how we met them. Certain to encourage new readers and old alike to visit the entire land of Midkemia.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Feist returns to his old Magic
Review: Yes, The Betrayal was probably his worst book.

Yes, There are no new Charactors in the Assassins.

But, The Assassins captures you like Feist's books of old. I was disappointed in the Betrayal, and was apprehensive about Assassins, but I was quickly swept along and caught up in this interesting and thoughtfull plot. Want to know more about the Nighthawks? This is the book for you. I'm just frustrated I have to wait for book 3 !

Summary: A novel that should more than satisfy paitent Feist Fans
Review: Here we have a book that surely offers nothing new, but it does offer a further look into the past events prior to the serpentwar series. I feel that this novel is not as bad as some reviewers has put it as.

Granted we have a book that does not fully entertain some because we all have different ways we like books to be. I'll say this: if you are a previous fan of Feist's works you will not be dissapointed with this one if you just be paitent with it and realise it for what it is, a bridge the time book.

Keeping this in mind you'll easily be able to enjoy the writing style you have always been acustomed to. Feist retains his talent with description and dialogue, and I guarentee that you'll not put this one down until it's complete.

I certainly found this an entertaining read. We get to revisit familiar characters such as James the Hand and Locklear before they died in later books and we discover what the whole thing was with the Crawler and the Mockers.

My advice to those who still do not like these books: just be paitent with Mr. Feist. He is doing his best to write something we'll like. Just wait, soon enough the "Dark War Saga" will be upon us.
