Summary: An entertaining story and an easy read.
Review: If you enjoyed the first two books in this series, you will enjoy this one. The characters are enjoyable and the basic story line is intriguing. Some readers may find the ending rather abrupt, but it is clear that the story will continue. Although I am not usually a sci-fi fan, I am looking forward to the next book.

Summary: A good read
Review: This book was another good one from Robert Doherty. Although it starts out slower than the others, it picks up pace before long. The only thing is this; if this is the last book of the Area 51 series, Doherty has done a bad job of concluding the series. Microrobots appear at the Easter Island gaurdian to do an unknown task; the Airlia are still on Mars; Kelly Reynolds is still trapped with the gaurdian; and the foo fighters are back. Hoping for more!

Summary: Area 51: The Mission
Review: I really enjoyed the first two books in the series. I probably would have given them 4 or 5 stars. The third book, however, is not as intriguing as the first two. The story leaves too many questions open ended. There are also several technical errors but I guess one can overlook these. M.

Review: I usualy only read comic books and stuff like that. This book was real easy to read but it was a long story for me.

Summary: Area 51 series is the best
Review: I liked the Area 51 series. It had suspense and aliens! I was well written and had a great plot. The characters are well told about and fit in with the story very well.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Can it ever be as good as the first two?
Review: Reading the Area 51 books, you wonder if Robert Doherty has inside information on alien visitations. The previous 2 books read as classified government reports on alien visitations and the true history of our civilizaton, only they hold you until the last page is turned. A definite must read for science ficton fans.

Summary: "Click", switch off your mind - and read
Review: I have read both the Area 51 books by this author. I agree that they are not "literature", but I have a catagory of books I call "Switch off my Mind" books. This catagory of book is one I can open and read from cover to cover in four to five hours without even thinking of the plot, the faults or anything. However when I am finished I feel tired (Sleep well) and satisfied. The Area 51 books fall into this catagory and I look forward to buying Area 51 : The Mission for this reason.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: very imaginitive and beliveable. Very entertaining.
Review: I thought this author did a wonderful job putting all the theroies on space travels and alien life into a very entertaining book. I could almost believe it.My mom does! I would have gave the first two books 5 stars but I was not able to feel much for any of the characters except for the old chinese lady. I find that usual when I read a book a man wrote as they do not put as much emotion in their works. The space crafts were great and I wondered if he had rode in one when he was reserching for these books! I will enjoy reading The Mission.

Summary: More Great Escapism From Doherty
Review: This series is always fun to read. And The Mission is probably a little more involved of a story than the previous two. Besides finding out there are groups that are in cahoots with the alien Airlia, there's also a devastating plague spreading throughout South America. I loved all the obstacles Doherty put in the way of Special Forces Captain Mike Turcotte in trying to find out who's responsible for the plague and how to stop it. At times you seriously wonder if he and his buddies are going to get out of this alive. Then there are the always cool re-writes of history that show how much of an influence the Airlia have had on humanity, including starting the Black Death in the Middle Ages and pushing the Inquisition. Some pretty decent action too, especially the assault on Devil's Island. Look forward to continuing on with this series.
