Rating: Summary: Fantastic Review: I have read all 3 books in the series and have enjoyed them all. Keep up the good work.
Rating: Summary: The best one yet. Review: This is the best Area 51 book yet, it goes into more detail than the first two, the only complaint is that it not reveal as much about the aliens as he first two.
Rating: Summary: This book kicks butt-- damn good Review: Best book I've read in quite a while-- actually the whole series, which is like on long book. Want more--
Rating: Summary: Keep them coming-- Review: Having read all three Area 51 books, my only complaint is that the series isn't finished. I want to know what the whole story is-- can't wait for the next one!
Rating: Summary: Excellent and fascinating Review: Not sure how I would classify this series. Sort of sci-fi, sort of a thriller, a lot of history thrown in-- whatever, it works. Also enjoyed The Rock, the first book by Doherty.
Rating: Summary: A good way to spend an evening. Review: Read this in one sitting. Moved the series along and the story got deeper. If you haven't read the first couple, you should. Then jump into this. I like my sci-fi with lots of action, a lot of history, and good characters and this hit three for three.
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK ROCKS!!!!! Review: A friend gave this to me while on a trip. Cool. I like X-Files and this reminded me a lot of that except bigger. Looking forward to more.
Rating: Summary: Great read and great fun. Review: I really enjoyed reading this. I didn't expect a history lesson or to be enlightened, simply to enjoy my time and that I did. A lot of action, a lot of background, a plot that takes more than a fourth grade education to understand-- well worth my time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Rating: Summary: Real letdown from the first two books in the series Review: While I could barely put down the first two books in this series this one left me vastly disappointed. Very little was revealed about the Airlia and their plans for earth and the new elements - The Watchers, The Ones Who Wait, The Guides, and the Mission - led to an almost inexhaustable page-turning effort in the wrong direction! Complicated novels are good, but ones that leave you feeling you know less about the situation than you did when you started are less than appealing. In addition the virus element was neither intriguing nor spell-binding. I found myself driving to finish the book so I could quit reading it rather than for the excitement. As I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books I hope he returns to weaving the webs of the Airlia rather than trying to set up the next ten novels. Wrap the series up within two books and move on.
