Summary: Excellent as always
Review: Another excellent group of stories by Mercedes Lackey. I loved the Di Tregard shorts, and the SKitty stories were absolutely wonderful, I would love to read a whole story dedicated to her and her family. Also I loved Lackey's idea about making the Grey shorts into another full series of books. All in all, I'm glad I found this book and it's well worth the read.

Summary: Enthralling, a wonderful display of Misty's talent
Review: Besides the Free Bard series, this was one of the first of Mercedes Lackey's books I had ever read, and it got me hooked. After reading this book, I was so eager to read anything I could of her books that I went out and collected every single one of her Valdemar books. The stories are exciting, and so different from each other that you never know what to expect. From the dark, haunting stories of vampires and kidnapping, to the exciting magic of fantasy worlds, to the Grey stories, which reminded me of "A Little Princess", her stories will capture your imagination and keep you fascinated until the end.

Summary: Excellent!! A must read for Vademar fans!!
Review: I enjoyed most of the short stories in this book, but it would have been worth the money just to read the Valdemar story. For those of you who have read all the Valdemar books, especially Arrows of the Queen, you need to read this story. It doesn't exactly clear up questions, but it's a story I've wanted to read since I've read those books. I bought the book and read the Valdemar story fist, then went back and re-read it. Now my best friend has the book to read and she has enjoyed it as much as I.

Summary: Wonderful anthology
Review: I have read a number of Mercedes Lackey books, and have found that she is getting stale. This book of short stories were just that, short. I picked up the book because it was her. I won't do that again. The only story that was halfway decent was "The Werehunter". However, it didn't really feel like the story was finished. The Mage Winds series is very good, and so is the Bard series. Try those instead. These stories were written more at a junior high level. Don't bother.

Review: I love Skitty and Scat. Would definitely like to read more about their adventures. Werehunters was a new twist. Thoroughly intriguing. I would read it again.

Summary: A great read!
Review: I've been reading a lot of Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar series and came across this book while searching for more books of hers! I must say that the editing is much better (the misspellings in her other books were bugging me) although her writing itself is as enjoyable as always. I would LOVE to read more stories about SKitty and her family and I definitely think she should do a trilogy or more on the Grey stories! This was also my first introduction to Di Tregarde and I loved it! If you haven't read Lackey's stuff yet, this is a great book to get. It shows her dynamics as a writer and is quite enjoyable!
